From the lush green shores of Ireland to the timeless avenues of Paris, Kathryn Hudson’s spiritual journey has been anything but ordinary. A certified Angel Therapy Practitioner® and Medium trained by Doreen Virtue, Reiki Master with the International House of Reiki, Manna Teacher under Christine Day, and a guiding Resource Person for the Findhorn Community in France, Kathryn walks a luminous path that bridges worlds—geographically and spiritually. With one foot rooted in the mysticism of her Irish-American heritage and the other stepping joyfully across continents—from Europe to the U.S., and soon Latin America—Kathryn channels divine wisdom through her roles as a Minister of Peace, initiated shaman, lithotherapy practitioner, and even as an actress and writer. In this deeply personal interview, Mystic Mag sits down with Kathryn to explore her mission to help others connect with their angelic team, align with their soul’s purpose, and open to the infinite support of the unseen realms.
Your work bridges many spiritual traditions—from Angel Therapy to Reiki and Shamanic practices. How did your journey unfold, leading you to embrace such a diverse range of healing modalities?
I was led intuitively from one practice to another, like clear steps along the path… and all of them bring richness and clarity, power and courage to my life, so I use them all.
I see my life (and not just mine, but each path is different) kind of like a bee going from flower to flower, being nourished and then creating their unique honey from the experience. On a daily basis, everything has its place, and all move me more into the All.
As a certified Angel Therapy Practitioner® and Medium, how do you experience angelic guidance in your daily life, and how do you help others connect with their own divine support system?
I live my life with the Angels at my side, and include the Divine in all daily activities, from what I will wear to what /if I will eat, to where I will go, etc. The guidance comes through all channels: clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience and claircognizance. After all these years, my instrument plays well, and the messages come through for me or others clearly and joyfully. (Gratitude!)
What type of services do you offer?
I support others on their journey through my books, group or individual sessions, or through workshops and trainings (live or by ZOOM).
Reiki is a powerful tool for healing and balance. What is one of the most profound experiences you’ve witnessed through your Reiki practice?
My first REIKI initiation seemed limited and I asked the Angels why they had sent me there… The lineage was “small”; that is, the teacher thought that REIKI was only for hands-on healing. So I kept up my practice only to heal my knees. A former marathoner, I blew out both knees finishing the Philly Marathon in the early 2000s, and the docs on both sides of the Atlantic told me I needed new knees – that I would never run again, and would never walk without crutches without the surgery. From deep within, I rejected this, and so started to do REIKI on my knees. It took a while, but I walk and play sports easily now, and even ran (jogged) a half-marathon since. REIKI heals.
After that, when I found a richer lineage and practiced more, people began asking me to do sessions, and then to teach. REIKI is an excellent way to bring balance in all areas, and even in the fluidity of our angel channel!
Lithotherapy, or crystal healing, is an ancient practice with modern applications. Are there particular stones or crystals you feel especially drawn to, and why?
My journey started with an « angel” – a person I never met before or after – who came into the Bank I was working at across from Grand Central Station on 42nd Street in Manhattan specifically to give me an amethyst crystal “to help me with my addictions.” That meeting changed everything… slowly. But indeed it changed everything. I still have that amethyst.
I am also exceedingly fond of Labradorite and rainbow obsidian (all obsidians, actually). And my powerful go-to transformation stones of moldavite and fulgurite. But you see? You wouldn’t ask a mother to choose between her children, would you? I think the choice is always in the moment what is most needed.
You describe yourself as a Minister of Peace. In a world that often feels chaotic, what daily practices or mindsets do you recommend for cultivating inner peace?
I received my Ordination in the UK many years ago, and consider creating Peace in the world around me like a sacred quest… especially these days!
Specifically, I work with the five REIKI precepts to ensure my own peace, and then allow that to flow outward from me. In addition I do practices like joshin kokyo ho or work with Angels to hold the world in peace and love, operating from a higher level. I love these practices qui permit us to operate as a human being, while being reminded that we are “more”!
