From engineer to angel communicator, Ann Albers’ journey is a remarkable story of faith, transformation, and following inner guidance.
What began as a simple desire to live a joyful and meaningful life evolved into Visions of Heaven—a sanctuary for spiritual growth and divine connection. Through her interview with MysticMag, Ann shares how her weekly messages, courses, and energy transmissions help others connect with their angels and rediscover the wisdom within.

What inspired you to establish Visions of Heaven, and how has your personal journey influenced its mission?
I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and worked in the avionics industry for eight years. During that time, I was tasked with coordinating over 100 engineers on a major airline project. I was working 90-hour weeks and calling others in on weekends. All I knew was that I wanted to wake up happy, go to bed grateful, and make a living doing something I loved that would help people. That simple prayer changed my life.
Soon after, I began having vivid dreams and visions. I met spiritual teachers and studied channeling, earth-based traditions, and various other uplifting spiritual practices. I prayed to know when to quit engineering, and one day, I clearly heard voices outside my head telling me to “Turn in your resignation tomorrow,” so I took a leap of faith and did it.
The guidance continued. One of my teachers encouraged me to share my gifts publicly, and within a year, I was working as the “psychic in the window” at a local metaphysical bookstore. Although I worked the slowest day of the week, by the time the store closed three years later, I had more clients than I could handle.
Back then, I sent physical mailers every six months to promote my classes and events. As it became increasingly labor-intensive (imagine printing, stuffing, and stamping 500 envelopes with six-page newsletters!), I turned to the internet. I bought a book, taught myself web design, and, after three weeks, created my first site. The name Visions of Heaven came to me during a meditation and became my new home online.
I’ve never branded myself or defined a mission—other than to share love and help people recognize the power and beauty of their own soul. This intention naturally evolved from my work with angels. Their mission became my own. As I grow in my understanding of Divine love, vibrational law, and the sensitivities of being an empathic soul, I share more. Everything I offer has evolved as a result of my work with angels and has been shaped by my journey.
Can you elaborate on how your weekly “Messages from Ann & the Angels” support individuals in their spiritual growth?
The angels have a gift for sharing timely wisdom. People often write to ask if I’ve been reading their minds! I haven’t—but the angels are always attuned to the collective needs of humanity, and their messages often speak directly to what people are experiencing each week.
My articles ground the angelic insights in everyday life. I share personal stories and examples from my own life to help translate their messages into something practical, relatable, and actionable. I don’t stand in public as a “perfect” spiritual icon but rather as a real human being who is learning and growing every day. By showing how I apply these messages in my own life, I hope to make spiritual growth practical, relatable, empowering, and even more fun!
How do your online courses and live events, such as “Dancing with Angels,” facilitate deeper connections with angelic guidance?
In all my work, I share both understanding and direct experience. My classes are filled with simple, powerful exercises that guide people to connect with their own angelic guide, inner wisdom, and inner power. Over the years, I’ve “reverse-engineered” my path—reflecting on what’s worked for me and my clients—and distilled it into clear, simple, and easy practices.
While knowledge can open the mind, experience transforms the soul. People may forget what I say, but they’ll always remember how they felt when they connected with the angels, Divine love, or their own inner wisdom and power. Many are amazed at how natural it is to connect with their higher guidance, angels, loved ones, and even pets in spirit. We all came equipped—we just didn’t come with a user manual!
What role do your “Online Gazes” and “Daily Energy Transmissions” play in helping individuals experience transformative energy?
While I no longer offer online gazes, I continue to offer them at my in-person classes. I do, however, still share nightly energy transmissions.
In the live gazes and in private each evening, I enter a state of “Presence”—a space of stillness and profound love in which my mind is completely silent, and I feel myself merging with a Source that emanates from within and flows through me. My only intention is to allow that love to flow through me to support anyone tuning in with a sincere desire. Much like a recorded song can be played any time, these transmissions become energetically “available” for people to connect with whenever they choose.
When individuals receive this energy, they often report emotional release, healing, insight, and a feeling of deep peace. Some see loved ones in spirit. Others feel an overwhelming sense of Oneness or joy. People have awakened the following morning with improvements in physical or mental well-being. I can’t make any promises—everyone’s experience is unique—but countless testimonials speak to the impact.
How does your background as an author, spiritual instructor, and angel communicator shape the resources and services you offer?
I live from the heart and allow my work to evolve with me. When I’m inspired, I act. When I feel called to write, I write. When I learn something meaningful, I share it.
Recently, I’ve been inspired by more creative endeavors. I’ve published mandala coloring books, written my first children’s book, and made a few positive activity books for kids. I even opened an Etsy store and started designing T-shirts! Using AI, I brought a spirit-given song to life on YouTube that has been touching hearts.
There’s no set formula. I just flow. I have hundreds of ideas for future books and projects, and will create them as the muse moves me. I trust that what is useful and joyful will come to life in divine timing. I truly know I’m an eternal soul, simply enjoying the human adventure. In that understanding, joy is my compass.
Beyond the labels of author or instructor, I’m a creative human being who gardens, crafts, cooks, hikes—and allows all that I am to influence my work. So you never quite know what’s next!
Looking ahead, what are your aspirations for Visions of Heaven in the evolving landscape of spiritual wellness and guidance?
For me, it all comes back to love. My aspiration is simply to stay aligned with my spirit and to share what feels like love with others. I want to be a living example that joy, peace, and a life based on love are possible—regardless of external circumstances. I want to help people experience their connection with heaven and their own inner power.
Right now, there’s a lot of fear and division in the world. My joy, now and in the future, is to help people connect with their true essence—to rise above the world’s dramas and noise and remember that our inner state shapes our unique experience of life.
I don’t have a plan or a roadmap. I trust the unfolding and evolving universe and the Presence within to guide my path, as it does for us all. I live what I teach—and let love lead the way.
