How did your grandfather’s involvement with Spiritism and your discovery of the handwritten astrological reading for your grandmother influence your journey into astrology?
I think that my grandfathers life story influenced me more than I previously realized. It provided me with the “possibility” of viewing life in this for my culture different manner, from an early age. Finding the letter further inspired and encouraged me to take on astrology as a hobby and to develop it into a profession.
What challenges did you face while balancing your demanding professions, studies in nursing and developmental psychology, and being a single mother with your astrological pursuits?
Astrology was present mostly as a hobby, during my other studies and work. Though I ran some smaller courses and readings in between, keeping the knowledge alive. This period in my life provided me with time to view astrology and really study it in the light of life- from a practical perspective.
How has your specialization in karmic and psychological astrology shaped the way you approach client readings and teaching?
I studied astrology from a karmic perspective from the beginning. My studies in psychological astrology helped me to also question my learned karmic perspectives, and to tie them to my psychological education. It helped me to realize how delicate and powerful astrology as a tool might be, and how it adds to understanding. Adding and refining similarities and differences between these two branches.
Can you share an example of how astrological knowledge has enhanced your understanding or practice in a non-astrological profession?
With the help of astrological knowledge, I experience that you might get to the point or the core of a particular situation or problem faster. To view life’s challenges from a different point of view might also feel helpful and deliberating for the client.
What advice would you offer to someone considering transitioning into a full-time career in astrology, as you did in 2017?
To believe in yourself and your practice! To build your knowledge and to work with clients on a regular basis. To constantly educate yourself and stay open minded.
