Britta Stalling on Hunyan Qi Therapy

Britta Stalling on Hunyan Qi Therapy

MysticMag chats with Britta Stalling, an experienced practitioner and teacher of Zhineng Qigong and Hunyuan Qi Therapy, dedicated to holistic well-being and empowering others on their healing journeys. With over 20 years of study and practice, Britta has shared her expertise internationally, impacting lives in South Africa, China, the USA, and Europe. Trained by renowned coaches, trainers, and Zhineng Qigong Masters, she brings a wealth of knowledge and authentic, inspiring teaching style to her workshops, retreats, and one-on-one sessions. Britta’s passion lies in Hunyuan Qi Therapy, where she finds joy in supporting people of diverse backgrounds and nationalities, sharing the transformative power of Qi medicine with the world.

Could you explain the principles and philosophy behind Hunyuan Qi Therapy, and how it differs from other forms of Qigong or energy healing modalities?

Hunyuan Qi Therapy stands out as a unique approach to Qigong, Qi medicine and energy self-healing modalities, grounded in a profound philosophy that integrates traditional Chinese wisdom with modern scientific understanding. At its core lies the concept of Hunyuan Qi, the fundamental energy and information substance that permeates all existence, both within ourselves and in nature.
In Hunyuan Qi Therapy, practitioners work with both human Hunyuan Qi and the primal Hunyuan Qi of nature based on conscious awareness and intention. The accumulation and cultivation of Qi through specialized practices nourish the body, balance emotions, cultivate one’s energy reservoir and strengthen the mind. This emphasis on organizing a Qi field for success and progress as well as the exchange of internal life Qi with external Qi of nature distinguishes it from other forms of Qigong and energy healing.
A key aspect of Hunyuan Qi Therapy is its holistic approach, addressing not just the symptoms but the root causes of illness. Developed by Prof. Dr. Pang Ming, this therapy combines Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), medical Qigong with Western medical knowledge, as well as insights from Daoism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and martial arts. It’s a synthesis of ancient wisdom and contemporary science, offering a comprehensive understanding of health, well-being, mental strength and healing.
Central to the practice is the creation of a Hunyuan Qi field, which can be used for one’s holistic health or any other personal or professional project and life intention. A trained Hunyuan Qi Therapist will also use and apply it to facilitate treatments. This approach harnesses the power of external Qi, derived from nature, to avoid depletion of the practitioner’s own life force. This ensures both the safety and effectiveness of the therapy.
The theoretical framework of Hunyuan Qi Therapy is based on the Hunyuan Qi theory and the Hunyuan Qi field theory, which emphasize the holistic nature of existence. Additionally, the three levels of substance theory, developed by Prof. Dr. Pang Ming, shows the principles and laws governing the motion and transformation of Qi, further enriching the therapeutic approach.
According to this theory, the universe is composed of substances at three levels. These are:
The level of concrete substance: This refers to the level from atoms to macro-realm concrete substances, which is the form of objective existence that takes mass as its unique characteristic while energy and information reside in mass.
The level of substance in the form of Energy fields, such as electric, magnetic and gravitational fields. It is the form of objective existence that takes energy as its unique characteristic with mass (in the hidden state) and information residing in energy.
The level of Information Substance (which is briefly called Hunyuan Qi). This is a level of substance that has not been recognized by human beings as a whole. It is an objective existence that takes time-and-space information as its unique characteristic with both mass and energy in the hidden state.
One of the remarkable aspects of Hunyuan Qi Therapy is its accessibility. It’s designed to be easy to learn, with a straightforward teaching method that allows for quick mastery of the skills and abilities. This accessibility makes it suitable for sharing worldwide, facilitating the spread of this valuable healing practice beyond its Chinese origins.

The Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Clinic & Training Center – known as the medicine-less hospital in the west – achieved remarkable success in treating a wide range of diseases. Could you share some notable case studies or success stories that demonstrate the effectiveness of Qi medicine and Hunyuan Qi Therapy?

The Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Clinic & Training Center, established in 1988 near Beijing by Prof. Dr. Pang Ming, achieved remarkable success in treating a wide range of diseases through the practice of specific Zhineng Qigong methods and receiving Hunyuan Qi Therapy treatments by trained teachers. Despite its closure for political reasons, the center left a significant legacy in demonstrating the effectiveness of this particular Qigong practice and Qi therapy.
One notable aspect of the center’s success is its focus on activating self-healing abilities and harnessing life-force energy, or Qi. With over 300,000 patients treated for 180 different diseases, the center boasted an impressive overall effectiveness rate of 95%. This achievement underscores the potency of Zhineng Qigong methods and Hunyuan Qi Therapy in addressing various health concerns.
A compelling testament to the efficacy of the therapy lies in the numerous case studies and success stories documented at the center. Patients from diverse backgrounds and suffering from various ailments experienced profound healing and improvement in their health conditions. These success stories serve as inspiring examples of the transformative power of Zhineng Qigong Science and Hunyuan Qi Therapy in restoring vitality and well-being.
There is even a book of the Huaxia Center “101 miracles of natural healing” in which 101 people from the East tell their recovery stories with Zhineng Qigong. We have started to collect 101+ stories from people living in the West. You can find the first amazing, inspiring and uplifting stories we have collected so far here: https://www.zhinengqigonghealingstories.com/
Furthermore, the center’s emphasis on training teachers highlights the ripple effect of empowering self-healing journeys. Many individuals, initially seeking treatment for themselves or their loved ones, were so inspired by their own recovery that they chose to undergo training to become teachers themselves. This exemplifies how personal healing journeys can catalyze a broader movement of spreading wellness and knowledge.
The programs offered at the medicineless hospital provided comprehensive instruction in Zhineng Qigong principles and techniques. Students learned various practices which were tailored to address specific health issues, ranging from heart problems to neurological conditions.
Despite its closure, the legacy of the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Clinic & Training Center lives on through the ongoing research and practice conducted by Prof. Dr. Pang Ming. His pioneering work continues to inspire advancements in the field of Qigong and energy healing, reaffirming the profound potential of Hunyuan Qi Therapy in promoting holistic health and well-being.

What inspired Master Yuantong Liu to design the Hunyuan Qi Therapist Training and make it accessible to aspiring Qi Therapists and health and well-being coaches in the West? How does this program contribute to empowering more and more people to choose a holistic health transformation for themselves and others, e.g. their clients?

Master Yuantong Liu is together with (myself) Britta Stalling, the co-founder of the Hunyuan Qi Therapy Program. He has been sharing Zhineng Qigong theories, principles and methods for more than 40 years and was trained directly by Prof. Dr Pang Ming during the rigorous teachers’ program in the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Clinic & Training Center – globally renowned as the first “medicine-less hospital in the world”. Inspired by his extensive experience and profound understanding of Zhineng Qigong, Master Liu recognized the need to make Hunyuan Qi Therapy accessible to aspiring Qi Therapists and health and well-being coaches in the West.
As the medicineless hospital, Master Yuantong Liu encountered patients whose sole wish was to extend their lives, even with just a few months left. With no other recourse, they sought healing. Remarkably, after only 24 days, some patients experienced complete recovery and almost everyone experienced some form of improvement. This firsthand experience illuminated the invaluable contribution of Hunyuan Qi Therapy to society. Given its remarkable success in treating conditions such as tumors, diabetes, high blood pressure, and other ailments, why not spread it worldwide?
The Hunyuan Qi Therapist Training program equips participants with the knowledge and skills to facilitate holistic health transformation through two key components. Firstly, participants learn how to give external treatments, where they create empowering Qi fields and transmit positive information to themselves or others. These treatments harness the healing power of Qi to promote mental strength, physical fitness, emotional balance, and activation of self-healing abilities. Additionally, participants learn effective Zhineng Qigong methods and meditations to integrate into their daily life for their own health-care management, and to support others.
A typical Hunyuan Qi Therapy session involves a relaxed and open atmosphere, where the therapist works with the client on multiple levels to address their healing intention. This includes strengthening the body’s Qi field, restoring and strengthening Qi and blood-exchange pathways, transforming negative emotional states, and strengthening the membrane system. By focusing on these aspects, Hunyuan Qi Therapy promotes holistic healing and wellness, enhancing the body’s natural ability to heal and thrive.
The benefits of Hunyuan Qi Therapy sessions are manifold. Clients often report feeling light, peaceful, relaxed, and happy after sessions, with immediate relief from symptoms. Moreover, Hunyuan Qi Therapy can improve the efficacy of medication and other medical treatments, accelerating healing progress. By combining Hunyuan Qi Therapy with Zhineng Qigong practice, individuals can experience accelerated progress and improved well-being, even in conditions where the support of Western medicine has been limited.
In essence, the Hunyuan Qi Therapy program offers a comprehensive approach to holistic health transformation, rooted in the principles of Zhineng Qigong. By empowering individuals to harness the healing power of Qi and cultivate self-awareness and resilience, the program contributes to the evolution and regeneration of individuals and their clients, fostering vibrant health, harmony, and balance – completely without the use of Western medical treatments.

With the closure of the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Clinic, how has the accessibility and availability of Hunyuan Qi Therapy been affected, and what efforts are being made to continue its practice and promote its benefits?

After the closure of the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Clinic, the students who had directly studied under Prof. Dr. Pang Ming spread across the globe to carry on their work. Among them, Master Yuantong Liu pioneered the Hunyuan Qi Therapy by contemporizing and advancing the principles established at the clinic. Hunyuan Qi Therapy is rooted in the Hunyuan Qi theory, a cornerstone of the teachings at the Huaxia center. Much like the inclusive ethos of the medicineless hospital, Hunyuan Qi Therapy strives for accessibility to all. This accessibility has been further enhanced through modernization, with a significant portion of resources and teachings now available online, making them more widespread and reachable.

The research conducted at the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Clinic showed promising results not only in healthcare but also in agriculture. Could you elaborate on how the use of Qi has been shown to improve agricultural crop yield, and what potential implications this has for sustainable farming practices?

Research conducted at the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Clinic and more recent studies, such as that by Citlalli Alvarez and colleagues, have shed light on the potential of Qi in improving agricultural crop yield. The application of Qi has shown promising results not only in healthcare but also in agriculture, offering a sustainable approach to farming practices.
One significant aspect of Qi’s impact on agriculture is its ability to enhance plant growth and development. Alvarez’s study on Dahlia Brevis revealed that exposure to external Qi led to notable improvements in root development. Specifically, the experimental group, which received Qi for a set duration over several weeks, displayed nearly double the number of shoots that successfully developed roots compared to the control group. Furthermore, these roots were observed to be thicker and more abundant, contributing to a better-defined plant structure.
Moreover, the emission of Qi appeared to positively influence the culture medium by reducing the formation of depressions. This suggests that Qi may have a stabilizing effect on the environment surrounding the plants, potentially enhancing nutrient uptake and overall plant health.

These findings hold significant implications for sustainable farming practices. By harnessing the power of Qi, farmers may be able to increase crop yields without resorting to costly chemical inputs or disruptive agricultural practices. Improved root development and plant health not only lead to higher yields but also contribute to the resilience of crops against environmental stresses such as drought or disease.
Furthermore, the potential benefits of Qi emission extend beyond conventional crops to include endangered species like Dahlia brevis. By promoting the growth and preservation of such species, Qi-based agricultural practices may play a crucial role in biodiversity conservation and ecosystem restoration efforts.
In essence, the research on Qi’s effects on agricultural crop yield presents a compelling case for its integration into sustainable farming practices. By leveraging the inherent energy of Qi, farmers can potentially optimize plant growth, enhance crop resilience, and contribute to the long-term health of agricultural ecosystems.
