When did you first know that you have a gift of natural empathy and intuition?
I have always had it even as a child. I didn’t really embrace it until much later in life. When the psychic gifts and empathic abilities wouldn’t let me ignore them anymore. As a child I grew up strict Catholic and my gifts were looked down on so I didn’t speak about them and ignored them trying to fit in. Now I embrace them and let them help me help other people and animals. My gifts have saved me many times and they allow me to provide messages to my clients.
What services do you offer?
I offer Reiki, Distance Reiki, Animal Reiki, Life Coaching, Oracle Readings, Breathwork Sessions, Animal Communication and Connections, and Bunny Bonding. I specialize in Rabbits as I am a long-time member of a rescue group.
What does Reiki mean to you? How would you describe it?
Reiki to me is a gift not only to me so I can help others but to my clients. I am grateful that I am able to be a conduit of the healing power of Reiki. Reiki is energy at its core. It opens us up and allows us to connect to the divine power of the universe and heal not only physical but emotional and mental issues as well.
Can you tell us a bit more about your sessions with animals?
My animal sessions can be in person or distance. I have personally witnessed Reiki do profound healing. One of the rabbits in the rescue was diagnosed with a stomach blockage and the rescue didn’t have the money to pay for the surgery. I was told this rabbit would die without the surgery. I performed Reiki over the course of several days for a total of 8 hours. The rabbit received the normal treatments of medication and fluids, but everyone thought she was going to die.
After performing Reiki during a treatment at the vet she passed the blockage. The vet was amazed at the size of the mass and shortly after passing the blockage she was fine. This happened in September of last year and I am happy to report she is still with us. This is the beauty of Reiki, while its not guaranteed I have seen it do miraculous things.
The other things I do with animals is work with them on behavioral issues. I am currently treating a rabbit that was very aggressive and would bite people drawing blood. When she first came to me, she was aggressive with me. Over the course of several months the fosters that had her previously took her for a week and told me that she was a completely different rabbit and was now cuddly and was no longer aggressive with them.
What is the most important detail in maintaining a relationship of mutual trust with clients?
Honest and open communication. To have a good relationship with clients they need to trust you. Also creating an understanding and safe environment for my clients to relax and feel comfortable sharing with me.
What do you love most about your profession?
Being able to help people and animals. I love to see the results and transformations in my clients. I especially love being able to help animals.
