What is virtual hypnosis, and how does it differ from traditional in-person hypnotherapy or hypnosis sessions?

Virtual hypnosis means that we utilize either Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime to do a session on the computer instead of in person. The difference is that the session is not done face-to-face, but rather on the computer. In-person sessions are done at an office. The client does an interview and then lies down on an unfamiliar massage table.

Can you explain the technology and tools used in virtual hypnosis sessions? How do they enhance or affect the hypnosis experience?

Virtual Hypnosis is very much like in-person hypnosis in that everything is explained beforehand, and a small interview is done before the hypnosis. Virtual hypnosis is two dimensional not three dimensional.

What are some common misconceptions or concerns people have about virtual hypnosis, and how do you address them in your practice?

Common misconceptions are that Hypnosis must be done in person. Some people are not computer savvy and this can cause an issue, but this is rare. Hypnosis can be done just as effectively via the computer as it can in person

How do you ensure the privacy and security of virtual hypnosis sessions, given the sensitive nature of the therapy? What measures are in place to protect client information?

Virtual Hipnosis sessions are always 100% private and confidential. Zoom FaceTime, and Skype are very secure. The only people who know about any private information are the client and the Hypnotist.

Can you share success stories or testimonials from clients who have benefited from virtual hypnosis? What are some of the common issues or conditions that virtual hypnosis can effectively address?

I have helped over 500 people quit smoking in 31 different States. Many of these have been during the time that I switched from in-person to virtual. I have also helped many people with weight loss, anxiety, fears, and social issues at this time.

I always make sure that my clients are 100% ready for the session. Three ingredients make up success, and those are the following: the client has to want to make changes, Hypnosis works and I have over 12 years of experience in doing this.

How do you adapt your hypnosis techniques for virtual sessions, considering the absence of physical presence and direct interaction? Are there any limitations or challenges associated with virtual hypnosis that clients should be aware of?

The majority of people that I work with are smokers. I always make sure that the person wants to quit smoking and I have several steps that I asked them to take to ensure that we are successful. I have them buy fake cigarettes and start using them instead of the real ones. I also give them affirmations to say. Saying something over and over trained your brain to believe it. I also provide my clients with a short recording that is a sleep hypnosis to get them used to hearing my voice and falling asleep before seeing me.

One of the challenges I have with clients is that they want to change too many things at one time. I make sure that we narrow that down and tackle one issue at a time (per session). There are also outside challenges that sometimes come up, such as stressful situations like losing their jobs, the death of a loved one, financial difficulty, and divorce.

I make sure that my client knows that there are no connections between their life events

And the habit that they are trying to correct. I make sure that my clients understand that it is some work to resolve their issues, but if they are willing to put the work in and utilize the Hypnosis, then they are most often guaranteed success.
