Does a person become a medium or is it born one, and how did you get involved in mediumship work?
While some people may have more obvious intuitive abilities from birth, I believe that everyone has latent, God-given intuitive gifts that can be cultivated. While mediumship may come more naturally to some than others, it is possible to hone intuitive abilities to communicate directly with the spirit world as a medium. With intention and practice, each one of us has the ability to connect with loved ones, angels, and spirit guides. This is because energy flows where our intention goes, and at our core, we are spirits ourselves.
My journey with mediumship began in 2017 after visiting a location known for being very spiritually active. While my husband and I experienced some paranormal activity, we really didn’t think much of it and returned home. Shortly afterward, my daughter and I began experiencing paranormal activity within our home which progressed to physical attacks. It was at this point that I knew I needed the help of an experienced and ethical medium before things escalated further. This is how I met my mentor, Dawn Hiruko.
Dawn helped me understand and manage my abilities, which took me from a space of chaos to empowerment. I began to realize that the unexplained and sudden physical, mental, and emotional changes I experienced throughout my life were actually spirits trying to communicate or me unintentionally absorbing energy from other people, places, animals, and objects. After training with Dawn for several years, I knew in my heart that this was the work I was meant to do.
What I love most about mediumship, intuitive coaching, and energy work is the opportunity to hold space for those who feel bereaved, unseen, misunderstood, lost, and lonely. The truth is that very few people seek out a medium or a healer when their life is perfect. I have the honor of meeting people where they are; without judgment, and working in tandem with spirit to help them find hope. While transitioning from corporate America to full-time energy-worker was scary, there is nothing more fulfilling than seeing the difference in my clients from arrival to departure.
Can you walk me through an intuitive reading?
Absolutely! When meeting with a client in person or over the phone, I begin by sealing our energies and space(s) for protection by asking God, the Angels, and each of our spiritual teams for assistance during the reading. I will then take a few moments to “open” in order to receive spiritual guidance on behalf of the sitter for their greatest and highest good. Spirit communicates with me by using words, sounds, images, ideas, smells, emotions, and physical sensations. In addition to these internal cues, spirit may prompt me to work with spiritual tools such as Oracle or Tarot cards, crystals, or the pendulum. I may also actively take notes to reference during the reading as the information can come very quickly.
In addition to working with the energy of spirit during the reading, I utilize the same spiritual senses to tune into my clients’ energies as well. This often presents as a form of deep empathy which allows me to feel physical sensations or emotions related to the client. This profound experience enables me to meet clients where they are in order to relay sensitive information and guidance when necessary.
I am also able to sense the energy of objects and environments as well as people/spirits. This is useful during readings, as people may choose to bring an object once belonging to or affiliated with their loved one. Clients are also encouraged to bring or provide a photo of their loved one to facilitate a connection. This sensitivity is also extremely helpful when performing home blessings and energetic cleansing.
When communicating with a specific spirit, they will use various methods to transmit details about themselves to help prove their identity. Evidential mediumship occurs when spirits provide personal details or memories to the medium that they would otherwise have no way of knowing. This process can be extremely healing and cathartic because it demonstrates how our loved ones continue to thrive and support us even after physical death.
How does Angel reading work and what can people hope to get out of one?
In this type of reading, Oracle (angel) cards are used as a tool to communicate directly with our higher selves, our guardian angels, and the Archangels. Angels will work with these cards and with our personal spirit teams and intuition to send messages and answer pertinent questions. The insight and accuracy of these readings are truly amazing. This is because angels see into our core and hear the questions we have within our hearts, not just what we’ve asked with our words during the reading. Even when the answer is challenging, the messages received will always be positive and encouraging. This is because we are all capable of so much more than we believe, and our angels LOVE to guide us toward our soul’s truest purpose.
Angel cards can be used singularly or in groups of cards called “spreads” to conduct readings. A single card pull is great for performing personal readings, to aid in meditation, as a daily affirmation, or for situational guidance. For professional readings, I will conduct a 3-card pull. In this scenario, the first card represents the past, the second represents the present and/or the related recommended action, and the third represents the outcome or future. Throughout the reading, additional cards may be pulled intuitively or may even “jump out” when the cards are handled. This is not by coincidence and these cards will be included within the reading.
Like our very best friends, Angels do not judge us harshly when we make mistakes or feel shame over a specific situation. They long to help us and are more than willing to help ease our suffering when asked. This is not to say that Angels will always remove that which makes us suffer, as these obstacles inspire critical learning, change, and growth. While the Angels are authorized to intervene in times of life or death situations, due to the law of free will, we must first ask them for help with all other matters. While there is really no limit to what the Angels can help with, below are some examples:

As an Advanced Angel Practitioner, I have satisfied certification requirements related to Charles Virtue’s angel reading methodology and successfully demonstrated proficiency in angelic and spiritual communication with Jeanne Russell, a Certified Angel Practitioner, Medium, Channel, Reiki Master Teacher, and Karuna Reiki Master Teacher. Even after conducting (and receiving) many angel card readings, I am still amazed by the accuracy and insight these cards provide. Can you share a few details about your Home Blessings services?
Our home is our refuge and it is imperative that this sacred space feels safe, comfortable, and supportive. Unfortunately, this is not always the case, and effects can range from subtle annoyance to extreme fear, physical disturbance, health issues, and various forms of oppression. Below are some examples of when a home or office blessing might be necessary:
§ You recently moved into a new home/location.
§ You feel like there is negative or uncomfortable energy or bad vibes.
§ You are having trouble sleeping, relaxing, or concentrating in this particular space.
§ You or other occupants have experienced high levels of stress, conflict, grief or pain, sadness, etc.
§ You have been physically touched, pushed, or spoken to by a non-physical being.

Home Blessing services may incorporate the following modalities (based on practitioner evaluation and client preference): smudging, use of essential oils, preparatory house blessing, home-reiki treatment, and consultation for ongoing energetic maintenance. While Home Blessings are generally performed in-person and on-location, my spiritual team and I have successfully completed numerous entity-removal services and home blessings remotely when necessary.
You also offer Reiki services. What can you tell me about that part of your work?
I am a Certified Reiki Master trained in Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki lineage by Master Teachers Jeanne Russell and the late Toni Krahling. It is my joy and privilege to share the gift of Reiki with others whenever possible and appropriate. I have so much reverence for this healing modality and the difference I have seen it make in the lives of both people and animals. Reiki treatments are non-invasive and can be performed in-person or remotely, based on client preference.
During the Reiki session, I am guided by physical and emotional sensations using my own body as a proxy. I also look for energetic disruptions along the client’s energetic body which may indicate pockets of stuck or stagnant energy. Energetic disruptions may or may not be felt physically by the client at the time of the session, but are usually comprised of residual emotional remnants or prior physical trauma or injury. In short, our thoughts, emotions, experiences, and environments all have the potential to settle energetically throughout various points within our body. These energetic remnants can disrupt the flow of energy and may even manifest as physical issues. Below are just some of the potential benefits of Reiki treatment:

Reiki is the energy that flows through all living and non-living things, and practitioners open to receive and direct this energy to the client. This energy is not coming directly from the practitioner, but rather directly from source for the purpose of healing, relaxation, and restoration. Reiki energy flows through the energy points of the practitioner’s hands and is directed to targeted locations within the client’s body, usually in alignment with the 7 primary energy centers or “chakras”.
