Coffee Cup Readings with Psychic Deniz

Coffee Cup Readings with Psychic Deniz

Today, MysticMag has the pleasure to introduce to you Psychic Deniz, a Shaman Psychic Medium who shares details about his famous coffee cup readings, the difference between being a fortune-teller in Istanbul and in Sydney, and more. Enjoy!

When did you discover your psychic gifts and how did using them become your professional calling?

I was 7 years of age, sitting in front of our tv with my parents in Istanbul. All of a sudden I felt a deeper sense of self-awareness, like becoming older. I was still Deniz, the same boy, but also different. This sense of intuition followed me through my childhood and adolescence. It is like sensing what is the best action to take, yet you still have a chance to choose the wrong path if you wanted. At the age of 7 or 8, I foresaw a terrible end of a marriage of an older couple. I warned the wife.

Much later on it did happen. She wanted to have a divorce, but it was too late. At 11 years of age, I told my dad not to trust a grey-haired old man in business. This guy was very good at hiding his true intentions. When I dislike a person I can’t look in the eye. My father did not listen and lost almost his everything.

It was not always this gloomy though. I said also cheerful things to my classmates during high school. Some bought me lunches. Back then fast food was regarded as something cool. I ate a lot of junk food and became overweight. Did I see this coming, of course not. I could not help myself back then.

Can you walk us through one of your readings?

In person: You visit me, I serve you the Turkish coffee and after drinking I turn the cup upside down on its saucer. The residue builds shapes inside the cup and on the saucer. I read your cup but also my coffee cup for you whenever I drink one with my client.

In the live video version, you have your favourite style coffee -such as Turkish or even an espresso -at home or at a cafe, and send me those photos beforehand.

Besides coffee, I work with face photos of people. I use a singing bowl, and crystals to energise myself in my psychic medium sessions. Readings take more energy than a 1-hour intensive gym workout for me.

What are the differences between being a fortune-teller in Istanbul and in Sydney? Is there a difference in culture and how people view your profession?

There are personal and cultural differences. When I was In Istanbul, I was a young man. Over the years, I became experienced and confident in my delivery. Today I say what I genuinely feel. I might be right or wrong, but  I do not sugarcoat. This was a process that took practice and years.

Australia is more multicultural and accepting. In Turkey, everyone likes to have a reading but secretly. The main difference is that I can be myself now. Everyone deserves that. Even in Australia, there is a long way to go in terms of acceptance. For example, in corporate functions, or for government agencies I am called a talent or an entertainer which I am not. We, light workers, need to earn more respect of the society. One step at a time.

As a shaman psychic medium, can you describe the shamanic aspect? Is there a difference between shamanic psychic mediums and other psychic mediums?

The shamanic aspect covers the mother earth, the stars, and other dimensions of life, including our ancestors. From Central Asia to Korea, and from Turkey to the Indian Americans there are subtle – and not-so-subtle -spiritual rituals with songs, drums, and ceremonies. It is part of my chosen culture and personal self-growth method. For that purpose, I visited China and Mongolia. The next step is 5-Stan countries.

How do your readings work over modern-day platforms, such as Whatsapp or Skype? Are they as effective and accurate as the in-person readings?

We have to ask this question to clients surely.  I like both equally. At times I prefer welcoming a client to my place in person, at other times I find the virtual sessions more effective. In any case, I say the same thing to my querent because I am the same psychic. I say what I need to say directly.
