Subconscious Mind Training® with Dennis Paul

Subconscious Mind Training® with Dennis Paul

Dennis Paul is a renowned hypnotherapist and the founder of Subconscious Mind Training®. With over 20 years of experience in the field of hypnotherapy, he has helped countless individuals overcome their fears, anxieties, and other challenges by accessing the power of their subconscious mind. His unique approach to hypnotherapy involves integrating traditional hypnosis techniques with the latest advances in neuroscience and psychology to help clients achieve lasting positive changes in their lives. MysticMag has the pleasure…

Can you explain how your Subconscious Mind Training (R) approach differs from traditional hypnotherapy techniques, and what benefits it offers clients?

I believe that hypnosis doesn’t actually exist as a separate entity; it’s simply a word we use to describe the process of putting people into a trance. Our minds have three levels: conscious, subconscious, and unconscious. Throughout the day, we move in and out of our conscious and subconscious levels on an average of 13 times. For instance, when driving long distances we have a tendency to daydream. We are now operating in our subconscious mind. Then we consciously realize that we missed our exit.
This is how hypnotherapy begins by taking the individual to the subconscious where our mind controls our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual actions.
Generally, hypnosis usually focuses on resolving a specific issue, like sleep problems or phobias. However, many people have multiple issues that aren’t being addressed. The accumulation of negative experiences and beliefs throughout our lifetime can create mental blockages and self-sabotage, hindering us from achieving our goals. That’s where a subconscious mind training program rapidly recreates a whole new human.
The first step is to remove the blockages and negative beliefs, creating space for new positive programming. Subconscious mind training focuses on changing habits, behaviors, and beliefs, which is where emotions and decision-making originate. I often work with women who have been abused and help them reframe their experiences into lessons learned, breaking the cycle of negative patterns. In 90 days, clients undergo significant transformations, resulting in greater happiness, abundance, and success.
Hypnotherapy is just one aspect of subconscious mind training, which can encompass relationships, communications, financial success, and more. I take a concierge approach to each individual, tailoring the process to their specific goals and needs.

How do you work with clients to identify and address subconscious beliefs or patterns that may be holding them back from achieving their goals?

In my first sessions, I start with a conscious level brain dump to find out what the person believes consciously. Then, I put them into a deep trance to access their subconscious mind. One thing that I find funny is that when someone is in hypnosis, they can never tell anything but the truth to the hypnotist. I open up their Pandora’s box and start peeling away layers like Shrek peels an onion. Often, there are issues buried deep that the person is not consciously aware of, but they are permanently etched in their subconscious. During the session, we identify those buried things, and 80% of the time, they are negative energy draining experiences. However, we eliminate that negative energy and turn it into positive energy. This process is ongoing, which is why it’s a 12-step process.
In addition to live sessions, I also provide customized audios with brain wave therapy that the person listens to while they sleep. This reinforces the reprogramming of their mind, and they hear me guiding them six nights a week. I can conduct these sessions online or in person, and I act as a guide, like Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings. I don’t tell the person what to do, but I guide them to where their authentic self knows where they need to go. This way, they build their mindset, their relationships, and their own community that leads to living an abundant life.

In your experience, what are some of the most common issues that clients seek hypnotherapy for, and how effective is Subconscious Mind Training (R) in addressing these issues?

The first issue I often encounter with clients is sleep deprivation. Many people suffer from this, and it can be severe. If your body isn’t getting proper rest in REM sleep, it cannot heal itself. This can manifest as illness, mental, physical or both. While many have tried various remedies, such as drugs or melatonin supplements, it’s essential to first clear out any underlying issues before reprogramming the sleeping process. I’ve had clients who experienced strange manifestations in their dreams, but we can often remediate these through hypnotherapy. The second issue I commonly address is pain management. As someone who struggled with Crohn’s disease for five decades and had 17 surgeries, including two bowel resections, I understand the importance of finding natural alternative methods to western medicine. Hypnotherapy regression was the first step in my journey towards healing, and it allowed me to make other changes in my lifestyle and diet to support my health. The third issue I see frequently is anxiety and stress, which can hinder performance during both waking and sleeping hours. It’s becoming one of the most common issues clients seek my help with. Next is smoking cessation. Over 800,000 people die every year from this toxic habit. Finally, as a certified relationship and communications coach, I often work with couples struggling in their relationships. This has become increasingly prevalent during the COVID-19 pandemic, as many people found themselves stuck at home together and unsure how to communicate effectively. Ultimately, my approach is tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and history, so there is no one particular area that I don’t work in.

Can you speak more to the role of the subconscious mind in shaping our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions?

As I mentioned earlier, we humans tend to make decisions based on our emotions, which are incredibly powerful. Emotions have two sides – love on one end and hate and anger on the other. These emotions are tied to positive and negative energies, and as a result, our habits and behaviors are often dictated by how we feel. Unfortunately, this can lead to making bad choices and falling into a cycle of repeating the same mistakes over and over again while expecting different results.
To break free from this cycle, it’s crucial to learn how to moderate our emotions. Some people, not just women but also some men, have buried their emotions so deep that they’re not healthy. Therefore, we must allow them to become more organic and natural. It’s essential to find a balance and not let our emotions swing too high or too low. Once we achieve that balance between our mind and body, our emotions will also settle into a similar balance.
This emotional balance is vital not just for our emotional health but also our spiritual well-being. In the current times, many people are missing out on spirituality. It’s not necessarily about having a specific religion, but rather recognizing a higher power that created us. We were created in a way that requires spirituality, and when we do not accept our spirituality, we starve ourselves. This ultimately impacts our emotions and relationships.

Can you share one success story or example of clients who have experienced significant transformations or breakthroughs as a result of your Subconscious Mind Training ®?

I’ve worked with many clients over the years, but one that comes to mind is a young lady around 40 years old who had been struggling with sleep issues since she was just 14. When she came to me, she hadn’t had a full night’s rest in over five months. She was no longer sleeping with her husband because of his snoring, and on top of that, she had severe nightmares. She even made a YouTube video where she talks about her struggles. (https://youtu.be/JLDB1AfFkc8)
She had tried medications and other remedies without much success. However, by the second week of our sessions together, she was already starting to sleep through the night. And by the end of our five-week program, she was back sleeping next to her husband. We remedied his snoring, so it didn’t bother her, and now they’re living a really happy life together. Her sleep struggles had a significant impact on her relationship with her husband, but with my help, she was able to overcome them and reclaim her restful nights.
