How did you get into the world of alternative healing and what sparked your interest in the field?
Back in 2001, I was very ill, on several daily rounds of Rx, my quality of life was non-existent. The umbrella of life was closing on me, I knew what was coming and I wasn’t ready to give up just yet. Upon many nights of prayer and deep soul searching, my sister introduced me to an herbalist/iridologist. My health did improve quite a bit. I would then cross paths with hands-on healing, become a Reiki Master and then graduate to that of a Shaman. My life and health were both improving, but my health would still falter at times. I felt there was a piece of the puzzle missing. I felt this way for many years. Upon seeing my herbalist/iridologist on a social visit years later, she showed me the EC & BC (Emotion Code & Body Code). Right away, without knowing much about it on a physical plane, I resonated with it. It was as if my soul instinctually recognized it! Not only did I get sessions done on me, but getting certified in both modalities was the next logical step.
What’s the difference between The Emotion Code and The Body Code and what are the benefits of each?
The Emotion Code could easily be referred to as Level 1. It deals mainly with different types of trapped emotions, and their different origins. The Body Code embodies the Emotion Code, plus also offers 6 major categories of possible trapped imbalances, such as energy, circuit or system, toxins, pathogens, misalignments, and nutrition/lifestyle. These 6 major categories are then broken down into further sub-categories, and so forth.
What forms or modalities of Reiki do you use?
The form of Reiki that I was attuned to is Mikao Usui. I used Reiki while I was pregnant almost 17 years ago, it was a wonderful and gentle source of peace and serenity.
Can you walk me through one of your Reiki sessions?
My evolution as a healing practitioner has been quite interesting, as growing exponentially is a direct result of this passion. Reiki energy is now automatically incorporated in each and every session by incorporating pure healing intention from the quantum field to affect a client’s highest and best potentiality. In other words, it empowers Reiki energy to a whole new dimension of sorts. Mind you, prior to the pandemic all sessions were conducted in person – the typical massage table scenario with a client lying on it. When the shutdown occurred, working remotely became the only way to connect with clients, and continue this most amazing work. It allowed me to work more efficiently, therefore able to see more clients, and still maintain the highest care and attention to everyone on an individual basis. How does this work? Upon expressing permission via phone consultation, and the date/time agreed upon, I begin the session. All that is released and/’or energy channeled (Reiki, cylinder of violet light, etc.) is written in outline form in an email (easy to follow and understand). When the session concludes, we debrief over the phone. This approach allows me to expand my services to people all around the globe – the UK, Switzerland, US Virgin Islands, Croatia, and many other countries.
What is your favorite part of your profession?
My favorite part of my profession is watching people’s lives change from their innermost being, and transforming outwardly. Watching them manifest peace and serenity within while awakening to a feeling of complete and absolute sovereignty. Knowing that their past traumas, or even inherited ones, do not play a role in their daily lives anymore. It’s as if closing a book on the past and putting it on the shelf, but this time you get to choose when to look at that “book” just for reference. Being a witness to this sacred journey of each and every client is both humbling and astounding!
Is there anything else about your work that you’d like to share that we haven’t covered?
I am certified to run 7-day healing groups of 3-100 people. This is more on the quantum level, basically a 24/7 session focused on a specific subject/issue. Topics covered include, but not limited to inner child wound, mother wound, father wound, marriage wound, self-sabotage, grief, removing walls, fear, anger, etc – the list is endless! This modality is a way to help humanity release and heal a bit faster, by working on larger groups at the same time.
