My certifications in nutrition, fitness, mindfulness, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) are deeply interconnected, allowing me to approach healing and transformation holistically. I firmly believe that true wellness comes from balancing the body, mind, and spirit.

My company, JJ Holistic Healing Arts, is rooted in this philosophy, focusing on addressing the whole person rather than just the symptoms. By combining these disciplines, I can help my clients create sustainable change—whether it’s improving their health, managing stress, or finding emotional clarity.

You emphasize creating personalized plans for clients. Can you walk us through the process of developing a holistic plan for someone seeking a lifestyle transformation?

I start with an in-depth consultation to understand my clients—their goals, nutritional habits, physical health, and daily routines. From there, I assess key areas such as nutrition, physical activity, stress levels, and emotional well-being.

Based on this, I create a tailored plan that includes mindful nutrition, a personalized movement routine that fits their schedule, and techniques like EFT or meditation to support their emotional health. I encourage small, manageable steps because transformation happens when clients feel empowered and supported, not overwhelmed.

Sometimes, setting big goals can lead to frustration and giving up too easily. That’s why I focus on small steps combined with consistent daily practice. I regularly check in with my clients to monitor their progress and adjust the plan as needed, ensuring they feel supported and set up for success.

What type of services do you offer?

I offer a wide range of services, both in person and online, depending on my client’s needs and schedules. These include mindfulness coaching, EFT sessions, Reiki healing, Access Bars sessions, sound healing, and nutrition consultations. Additionally, I host Reiki classes, Access Bars classes, meditation workshops for groups of women over 40, and a lifestyle transformation program tailored specifically to my niche—women over 40. My approach is highly flexible, combining these services to meet each client’s unique needs.

EFT is a unique part of your practice. Can you share an example of how this modality has helped a client overcome emotional or physical challenges?

EFT is a unique part of your practice. Can you share an example of how this modality has helped a client overcome emotional or physical challenges? EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), often referred to as tapping, it is a technique that combines the principles of traditional Chinese acupressure with modern psychology. It involves gently tapping on specific meridian points on the body—such as the face, nose, around the eyes, chest, and arms—while focusing on negative emotions, physical pain, or limiting beliefs.

This process helps release emotional blockages, reduce stress, and restore balance to the body’s energy system, promoting healing and a sense of calm. For example, one of my clients was struggling with chronic anxiety, which manifested as digestive system issues and difficulty sleeping. Through EFT, we worked on releasing deep-seated fears and limiting beliefs that were contributing to her symptoms.

After just a few sessions, her anxiety decreased significantly, and both her digestion and sleep improved. It’s incredible to see how addressing emotional blocks can have such a profound physical impact.

Your book, 52 Weeks of Morning Mantras, focuses on empowering women over 40. What inspired you to write it, and how has it impacted your clients?

This book was born out of my own journey of self-discovery and transformation after turning 40. I wanted to create a simple yet powerful tool to help women start their mornings with intention and positivity. The feedback has been heartwarming—clients have told me it helps them feel grounded, energized, and more confident as they navigate their unique challenges. It’s a reminder that small, mindful practices can lead to significant shifts over time.

Over the holidays, I’m taking the next step with this book. It’s already published on Amazon, but I’m planning to create an audiobook to reach a wider audience. For those who don’t have time to read, they can listen to the audio version in the morning, while driving, or even while in the kitchen having coffee. I’m excited to make this accessible and convenient for more people.

I’m also thrilled to announce that I’m working on launching my personal app. This app will help me build a small, supportive community for women over 40, which is my niche. With the app, they’ll be able to easily access my meditation tracks—since I’m a meditation teacher—and holistic nutrition plans tailored to different needs, including vegan options.

I envision this app as a powerful tool where users can check in daily, follow their plans, and feel supported. I also plan to include group coaching sessions to further connect and inspire. My goal is to launch the app by January, and I’m putting my heart into making it an empowering and easy-to-use resource for my community. I’m so excited to see this come to life!
