Meet Jules Gillam, a seeker whose journey from skepticism to spirituality unfolded in unexpected ways. In her enlightening interview for MysticMag, Jules delves into her exploration of pendulum healing, crystal Reiki, and manifestation practices, offering insights born from her personal evolution and quest for deeper understanding.
How did you get into spiritual well-being and what drew you to this field?
I have always been interested, fascinated, by the mystical & magical. In my younger years, I would regularly go to clairvoyants and use Runes and Tarot Cards. I would also try and think about how the Universe was created and worked. Of course, before the internet, the access to resources and Gurus was limited and I got caught up in the 3-dimensional world of life and subsequently found the years passing by.
The Universe has tried to push me many times towards the direction of a spiritual journey, even following the loss of my mum some 15 years ago when 3 people (not connected) in 3 consecutive years gave me The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle! As a busy human, I had no time for what appeared to be a very deep read, so I again neglected the being in me.
Then 5 years ago one of my beautiful fur babies became ill and we lost him very quickly. The internet made it easier to then search – I wanted to feel he was somewhere and free. My journey then started!
Initially, I became a certified Energy Healer (the course covered many of the modalities and was an Internationally Certified Course), I then fell in love with crystals and qualified as a Crystal Reiki Master & Teacher. I have also qualified as an EFT Practitioner, taken Eckhart Tolle’s Conscious Awareness Course & many more and continue to deepen my knowledge and experience. Every day something new arrives from the Universe Inbox, whether that is covering Hermetic Principles, Universal Law, Ancient Egyptian Wisdom, Emerald Tablets, Tantra Meditations, Channelling and …………. so much and it all deepens my understanding and allows me to become more and more connected to the Universe.
I will continue my own journey of Self realisation & Spiritual Awakening in this life & onwards, and work to support others to do the same.
What is Pendulum Healing and how does it work?
I love love love using the Pendulum. I use it for chakra balancing and healing as well as card readings. It was one of my first Aha moments. I ask the Higher powers of love and light to support me, whether guiding me in card choices, or the healing and go from there. I use it for my animals as well and they love it. I even play with the higher powers testing their maths, we have so much fun. It is something we all can tune in to and the more you believe the more you will move to knowing!
From an energetic perspective, how can manifestation help a person become the best version of themself?
As energetic beings we are always emitting a frequency out to the Universe and based on that frequency, which is aligned to our energy, thoughts & emotions, and desires, we attract corresponding energy and experiences. Most people are not aware of their general state of being, their core frequency level, they are generally thinking and feeling from a negative perspective, complaining, moaning, judging, filled with self-doubt, and in this current time on the planet filled with fear & overwhelm.
To ensure that we attract what we want in our life we must become the best version of ourselves and uncover our true nature, connect with our inner wisdom.
To do this we need to raise our vibrational frequency, which involves understanding who we truly are and starting to peel back the layers of conditioned beliefs, raising your self-awareness, working on your inner child, doing shadow work, taking ourselves to a place of less judgement – it’s a commitment to raising above the conditioning & becoming more aligned to the real magic that lies within.
Subsequently, you become a more joyful person, more peaceful, and able to cope with the challenges of life, you don’t become the events in your life, you grow from them, and when you are truly aligned you will start to see the synchronicities happening & begin to manifest your best life.
What is the Map of Consciousness?
The Map of Consciousness was presented by David R Hawkins in some of his books, Power vs Force & Letting Go.
The Map of Consciousness shows the energetic frequency of our emotions and level of our consciousness up to that of Enlightenment. The higher levels of emotions, such as joy, love & peace are associated with a more balanced and harmonious state of being and have an influence on the body’s overall energy and frequency,
Our physical body has its own optimum frequency for wellbeing, and that is between 62 and 70hz. When we focus on raising our consciousness it helps keep the body’s frequency at a higher level and our wellbeing.
The raising of our vibration in terms of consciousness is of course paramount on a journey of self-realisation and spiritual awakening.
What is Crystal Reiki and how is it different from other forms of Reiki?
Crystal Reiki combines traditional Reiki with the use of crystals. Crystal Reiki utilises the frequencies that reside in the earth and amplifies them through the power of Reiki energy. The crystals enhance and amplify the healing energy during a Reiki session. The crystals are placed on and or around the body, sometimes grids (templates – combining some sacred geometry) are used, and often the crystals chosen to correspond to the chakras (energy centres). The crystals amplify the energy and depending on the crystals chosen they can support balance, clear blockages and heighten intention. The inclusion of the crystals can also help with cleansing and purifying the energy field by absorbing and transmuting negative energy.
Crystals can also be chosen based on colour associated with various properties and influences and perception, and also chosen to support different aspects of a person’s life, for example creativity, career, home, increasing consciousness, and more.
What other services do you offer?
In addition to the Crystal Reiki, Pendulum Healing, and the Manifestation Workshop, I also offer:
Yoga Nidra Course – I am a certified Yoga Nidra Teacher and offer a course that covers what is Yoga Nidra, why – benefits, science, how it works, etc, so that people can have a deeper understanding. It’s just a short course and I also introduce Antar Mouna Meditation (Inner Silence) and touch on pranayama techniques and mudras and mantras. Finally, I introduce a Yoga Nidra session and send them MP4s to practice.
EFT – I am a Practitioner and offer sessions as a stand-alone modality but also incorporate this in the Workshops below.
Wellbeing & Motivational Sessions – supporting people to overcome negative emotions, thoughts, limiting beliefs, etc, from an acute angle – such as becoming overanxious when presenting to when, as an example, anxiety presents as on a day-to-day basis.
Self-Realisation & Spiritual Awakening Courses, one is an introductory experience, and the other delves deeper covering all aspects.
Finally, I also have another website www.magicalmerch.store, which I set up last year. My drive to do this was that I (wrongly) thought a larger majority of people knew about the spiritual world of mystic and magic, and when I realised only a small proportion knew about this I saw this as a way through images and words of encouraging intrigue and questions and perhaps starting others on their spiritual magical journey of The Universe!
