As the Founder of My New Life LLC and a leader in the fields of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), hypnotherapy, EFT and Human Design, can you tell us about your journey and what inspired you to pursue these areas of expertise?
The truth is, I never expected to be on this path. I grew up in a tiny town in the Northeast, where my parents sent me to a small private school. I really struggled to fit in and was generally labeled an unhappy child.
More than forty years ago, we didn’t talk about things like emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. But by the time I was twelve, I had experienced them all. I struggled with confidence, low self-esteem, and self-doubt, generally feeling like an imposter.
When I reached midlife, despite having a very successful corporate career and a family, I knew I needed to focus on clearing my emotions and negative beliefs to become a better version of myself for my son.
I had goals I wanted to reach, but more than anything, I wanted to truly love and accept myself, something I never genuinely felt. Most days, no matter what I achieved, I felt broken because of my past. A lot was going on that was holding me back – most of which I wasn’t consciously aware of.
The world around me changed as I changed on the inside, and people who noticed the dramatic transformation began asking me to work with them, which was the beginning of a remarkable new career.
What type of services do you offer?
I’m a Law of Attraction Expert, board-certified Master Success & Life Coach, and a Master Practitioner of NLP, Master Hypnotherapist, and Master Practitioner of T.I.M.E Techniques, along with EFT and Quantum Human Design™.
As of right now, all my sessions are private. My goal is always to help people reach their desired outcomes in the shortest amount of time. Once I meet with clients, we mutually agree if we’re a good fit based on what they want to accomplish and what I offer. Many of my clients experience the results they want in a single session.

In your book “Becoming Positively Awesome,” what key concepts or strategies do you discuss that can help individuals transform their lives?
This book has a treasure trove of wisdom and practical tools, empowering readers to tap into their subconscious minds, which is the key to unlocking a more fulfilling, peaceful, and joyous life. We each share personal stories of inspiration and a range of effective strategies to overcome limiting thought patterns and negative emotions based on our personal experiences and areas of focus. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP): NLP is a methodology that examines the relationship between language, patterns of thought, and behavior. By understanding and changing your internal language and thought patterns, you can rewire your brain to support positive change. NLP techniques such as reframing, anchoring, and modeling can help you overcome limiting beliefs, enhance communication skills, and achieve personal growth.
Energy Healing Modalities: Various energy healing modalities, such as Reiki, acupuncture, or Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), focus on balancing and unblocking the energy flow within the body. These practices work on the subtle energy systems and can promote healing, emotional release, and personal transformation.
Cultivating Gratitude: Gratitude is a practice that involves consciously focusing on and appreciating the positive aspects of your life. Practicing consistently can shift your mindset, increase happiness, and improve overall well-being. It’s scientifically linked to numerous benefits, including reducing stress, enhancing relationships, and maintaining a positive outlook. By cultivating a gratitude mindset, you elevate your internal state of emotional energy, which, in turn, transforms the energy you put out into the world.
Manifestation and Law of Attraction: Manifestation and the Law of Attraction involve harnessing the power of your thoughts and beliefs to align with positive transformations in your life.
Many people are still learning that we are constantly manifesting, whether we know it or not.
We attract experiences and circumstances that align with our predominant thoughts and emotions. One of the many keys to manifestation is that it still requires action – the things you want don’t magically appear. Likewise, Human Design is another powerful tool many people are just beginning to discover. It provides a comprehensive system for understanding and embracing our unique individuality. It combines elements of astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalah, and quantum physics to create a detailed map of our energetic makeup, helping us to uncover our true nature and potential. By uncovering our unique energetic makeup, aligning with our energy type, and honoring our individuality, we can unlock our full potential and create profound shifts in our lives.
Positive psychology emphasizes the importance of cultivating a positive mindset. What strategies or exercises do you recommend to maintain a positive outlook, even in challenging times?
I know first-hand how difficult it can feel to stay positive, especially when things are challenging. Trying to place positive thoughts on top of difficult situations can taste like heaps of sugar on top of stale coffee.
So the first thing I would call out is this: we’re not meant always to feel good. We’re supposed to experience a full range of emotions, including fear, anger, and frustration. Every emotion serves a purpose. We naturally feel sad when we lose someone we love. We naturally feel fear if we’re walking alone down a dark alley at night. We naturally feel anger or resentment if we lose our job unexpectedly.
The idea is to allow yourself to experience those thoughts and emotions without judgment and let them move through you. They’re not designed to stay for long periods because the prolonged attachment to negative emotions created by negative thinking interferes with our mental and emotional well-being.
So while there are ways you can shift your current thinking, like gratitude, meditation, and re-framing, they may not be enough on their own for some of the more significant issues.
Prolonged negative thinking is generally profoundly rooted beyond the immediate issue. For these situations, many other methods exist. Some of the ones I use with clients that have produced excellent results include guided meditation, anchoring, language patterns, and T.I.M.E Techniques.
How do you integrate the principles of NLP, T.I.M.E. Techniques, Human Design, and Emotional Freedom Techniques in your coaching and training programs? Can you provide an overview of the methodology you follow?
One thing I’ve discovered through my journey and twenty-five years of coaching is that a one-size-fits-all system doesn’t work. If it did, we all would have discovered it by now. Many systems contain relevant pieces to the larger puzzle, but the net/net is that everyone is unique in how they came to be who they are, and getting them to where they want to be takes a customized approach.
First and foremost, I follow my belief and understanding that none of us are broken. We don’t need to be fixed. As we grow up, we become exposed to ideas, thoughts, beliefs, and expectations that move us away from who we are at our core. We go through life, for the most part, conforming to a way of being that often takes us off our personal path.
We can generally tell when we’re on the wrong path when we experience emotions like anger, bitterness, frustration, and disappointment for prolonged periods.
I lean into these concepts, along with the philosophy that we are energetic beings existing in a physical form, experiencing thoughts and emotions as we strive to fulfill our soul’s purpose.
I blend science and energy with a twist of spirituality, enabling me to work with each person on all levels and help them move into complete alignment, ultimately removing resistance and internal obstacles like fear, doubt, and sabotage while unlocking the door to a more peaceful life with tremendous success.
I have a deep and broad toolbox that allows me to quickly find the methods that will work best for each person while aligning with their values and what’s important to them.
What are your future goals and aspirations in the field of personal development and coaching? Are there any upcoming projects or initiatives that you’re excited about?
I’m incredibly excited about what’s coming next! I have a new book collaboration project with #1 Selling Author Jack Canfield. I also have a new Family/Relationship coaching program for parents looking for a powerful new way to support themselves and their children in elevating their confidence, courage, and self-esteem.
I’m always continuing my education and training to stay ahead of my clients’ needs. This includes finishing my Quantum EFT Certification this year and becoming a certified NLP Trainer next year so I can share this incredible technique with coaches, teachers, parents, and executives and ultimately reach more people.
And, of course, I continue to work with clients through private 1:1 sessions!
