How did your life change after you discovered your psychic abilities?
Discovery is a slow, gradual process. And, I feel learning to walk that path, and allow for the discovery to come forth at its own pace and rhythm, is the biggest learning of it all. All too often it can be easy to get fixated on the early breakthroughs, the new egos, and the excitement that comes with it. But I guess this is where the biggest learning has been for me – to look past these sparkly discoveries and to dig deeper, to look further. So, beyond the obvious changes in how I may perceive or understand the world around me, I feel my psychic abilities have led me to a new humanity and a new humility- one that witnesses itself and all life as a work in progress.
Can anyone develop these abilities or can only people who have been born with them develop them?
Everyone is intuitive. Being psychic is not the prerogative of a few. It is the way these abilities are developed and how tuned they are naturally that varies from person to person. I do see this being closely aligned with your path and lifestyle, so not everyone needs to see the other side to be able to connect with the guidance and intuition of Soul. A strong gut instinct or a natural sense of premonition may be what one really needs most on their path. If anything, some of the most intuitive people I have met have little training and even lesser use for crystal balls or elaborate visions. As my own nanna once said, “This is natural”. You can always work on these and develop them further, but I have come to understand that it is important to understand one’s own intuitive balance as the foundation, the starting point.
Can you walk me through one of your readings?
To be honest, I do not choreograph my readings. I see myself as a handset between the client and Soul. There are no preset expectations or limitations on what information will come through, making each reading unique to the client. I simply let my skill sets take over, combining the vast array of tools and techniques in my kitty to bring through the guidance. What is defined is the intention of the reading, and this anchors in my work at Psychic Spin- seeking perspective on the matter at hand in a way that bridges the spiritual with the everyday and routine. The approach is to anchor the spiritual guidance or wisdom in our everyday through practical change, and tangible steps. So I do like to keep my readings precise, practical, and straightforward. Whether we connect with the Angels or the Higher Self, or whether we work with tarot or soul plans, the focus is on practical, usable information.
What are So(U)L Flash Reports and what information does one of them contain?
There is this flow to my work and experience with Psychic Spin, and it brings me to focus more and more on the Individual journey. Instead of swimming in generic guidance and conversation, the dialogue with clients has developed over the years to focus on the specifics of their path and experience. I feel that understanding that spirituality and spiritual guidance is NOT a one-size-fits-all is so important to even begin unleashing the potential an individual holds. As such, our classes and readings are increasingly bespoke, focusing on the one-on-one format. So(u)l Flash readings are part of this approach, taking a more bespoke approach on ‘horoscopes’. These are monthly readings that are sent out at the start of the month, to give the client a heads-up on what to expect in the coming weeks. Each one is prepared individually, every month, tuning into the client and their month ahead. Along with a forecast for the month ahead, I try and include an affirmation and a totem to help them imbibe the guidance for the month.
How do you maintain a relationship of mutual trust with your clients?
I don’t. I simply act in authenticity and my truth at all times, and allow the relationship to evolve in its own free will. After all, I am as much a part of the energy as my client, so this isn’t a dynamic I modulate or steer. The focus is on the guidance, the information- that is the only relationship that matters, be it the clarity n precision with which I bring it through or the balance with which the client receives or understands it. I guess, any trust that evolves is with the information and insight, and not me.
Instead, I see my exchange with clients as individual interactions, rather than an ongoing dynamic or formula, with each person bringing their energy and truth to the table in that moment. So my clients are free to drift away when their soul calls them away from my work, and are free to tune back in when they feel called to do this. Every interaction offers a fresh start, instead of being caught up in the expectations or past ( even if positive )- theirs or mine.
Is there anything else you’d to add?
Something I am deeply passionate about- in my own path and my work at Psychic Spin- is to not mistake the map or tool for the path. There are a hundred and one systems or modalities to finding peace, healing, or even power. But these are just more maps to the same journey, and rarely ever complete one’s as they are external. I don’t think you can really find your spiritual self without making mistakes, without getting lost along the way, or without falling down. The examples and guidance of others can only take you so far, and taking a leap beyond this is really where the action kicks in. So whether in a reading or a psychic development lesson, we work hard to reveal how our own journey is our greatest and most sacred guide.
