In a world full of noise but starving for soul, Liria Rose offers a rare kind of resonance—one that heals, empowers, and transforms. As a Sound Alchemist and Spiritual Coach, Liria is a guiding light for empaths, creatives, and spiritual seekers ready to reclaim their voice, step into their power, and manifest the life they were always meant to live. Her work blends intuitive coaching, sound healing, and belief reprogramming into a powerful process of inner alchemy—helping others release conditioning, heal old wounds, and reconnect with their Highest Self. What sets Liria apart isn’t just her training or her tools—it’s her story. She’s walked the same path as many of her clients: growing up as the sensitive peacekeeper, navigating toxic patterns, and emerging through spiritual awakening with a deep passion to help others do the same. In this heartfelt interview with Mystic Mag, Liria shares her personal journey, the magic of sound as a healing force, and how creative souls can shift their mindset to transform pain into purpose and dreams into reality.
Your journey is deeply personal and relatable to many empaths and spiritual seekers. What was the defining moment that made you step into your role as a guide for others?
The defining moment was a few months after my dad had passed away in 2021.
I had finished graduate school a few years back with a Masters Degree in Flute Performance, and was teaching flute lessons full time and performing as a flutist while I continued to practice and prepare for professional orchestra auditions.
As the months went on following his passing, I was starting to realize that my life’s dream of playing in an orchestra as a professional flutist was no longer feeling aligned.
I started doing a lot of healing work, opening up my creative expression, and the classical world started to feel very constrictive for the artist that was being born within me.
I felt very lost and didn’t know what was next.
I called out to the universe and my soul and asked for guidance during a meditation, and that meditation changed my life.
I was playing music on my phone while meditating, and a Native American flute track started to play.
It was an instant knowing, like I had forgotten something for 20+ years and suddenly remembered.
It was as if my soul spoke to me and said, ‘’You’re supposed to be a Sound Healer!! Go buy a Native American Style flute today.’’
This changed the course of my life and my career forever.
It led me to buying a flute that day, starting to learn to improvise after playing only with sheet music for 20 years, hosting my first Sound Healing events, and starting to really see how music could impact people.
It led me to eventually teaching people how to heal through music, hosting retreats, training sound healers, and helping thousands of people across the world through music.
If I hadn’t gotten to that breaking point of questioning what was next and asking for support from The Divine, I’m not sure the answer would have come.
Sound healing is a powerful modality in your work. Can you share how it transforms energy and helps individuals shift limiting beliefs?
Absolutely! It has been the biggest blessing to see so many people experience the benefits of sound healing over the years.
I’ve hosted over 1000 Sound Baths at this point, and more beautiful benefits continue to be unveiled.
The way I experience how Sound Healing helps transform energy I’ll explain first visually.
Imagine you are experiencing tightness in your throat, and also challenges speaking your truth.
That would be a throat chakra blockage.
The sound would wrap around the block in your throat, kind of circling and going THROUGH the energy, nudging it to disperse.
This could physically feel like stored emotions coming up to the surface.
The music can also evoke different feelings in real time, so the stored emotions can come up.
Sometimes this is very pretty and peaceful and will bring people to that state of joy and bliss, but it can also be uncomfortable.
A clashing frequency or intense instrument can bring up feelings of discomfort that trigger more challenging emotions to surface like agitation, annoyance, grief, etc.
It’s giving you the opportunity to feel and process these old emotions, so they can be released for good.
Now, it’s your choice if you want to let it go, or you’re welcome to hold onto it. However you’ll probably be guided to come to another sound bath and try again, hehe.
Sound Healing also helps to balance the nervous system by engaging the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) and stimulating the vagus nerve to help with emotional regulation and more.
Sound Healing frequencies are pure and correlate to the energy centers in our bodies.
Loud, disruptive noises that we hear in our world every day like traffic, airplanes, loud sirens, even rap music on the radio can rattle the nervous system as they are not natural and activate our stress response.
So sound healing is actually bringing our body and energy back into alignment with pure frequencies, therefore helping bring our nervous system back to center.
As far as shifting limiting beliefs, when someone can really drop into a relaxed state during a sound bath, they’re actually getting into the theta brainwave wave.
This is where the subconscious mind is more malleable, similar to when we were young and had these original beliefs programmed
When we’re in theta state, this is a great time to work through a limiting belief and shift it.
For example, if someone is in a sound bath and wants to work through the limiting belief, ‘’I’m only worthy of success if I’ve struggled enough,” when they feel themselves get into that half asleep/ half awake feeling, they can bring that belief up.
They can ask their soul, God, whatever they believe in to show them where that belief first was programmed.
The combination of moving into theta and healing music with loving intentions can allow people to access stored childhood memories showing where this belief was first programmed.
By going there and feeling any emotions attached to it and realizing it was just a program, we can actually release it from our system, DNA and even our ancestral lineage by simply loving it, feeling it, and telling yourself a different story.
Let’s reprogram the belief to, ”You are absolutely worthy of success because you come from God, which is love, and you are already worthy.”
This can look like asking for support from the frequencies to program that in, repeating it often while in that state, or doing some EFT tapping along with the music.
You can also imagine yourself being successful, telling yourself it’s safe, etc.
We’re basically hacking into the subconscious mind which is usually only accessible in deep meditation or sleep, but with sound healing we can get there, and usually more easily than silent meditation (which is actually pretty advanced).
A lot of the reprogramming also happens on a subtle subconscious level, as these frequencies are also raising the vibration of the attendees, so people are receiving benefits without really having to do much themselves as well.
Now what I will say is that one sound bath is not going to immediately clear all your beliefs!
Just this one belief could be packed with dozens of programmed memories, and you may need to work through it for a while, whether at a sound bath, at home, journaling etc.
These things take time, and it’s a consistent dedication to healing and self development that will yield the longest term results.
What type of services do you offer?
I offer in person healing sessions for women who are ready to reclaim their power, release the past, and learn to create their life on purpose.
I often work with women who come from religious trauma, healers, creatives, or are just looking for ways to function in the world as an empath.
I combine energy healing with sound healing and intuitive guidance in nature or at my home in South Austin.
I also offer healing through the Flute Mentorship.
I guide people to heal their inner child, unlock creativity, and become aware of belief systems and patterns through learning the flute.
Whether these women used to play the flute back in middle school and are wanting to reconnect with that again, or they’re completely learning flute from the beginning, just learning a musical instrument can bring up so many things for us to see right in front of our face on a personal development level.
For example, if you have a wound of perfectionism, learning a new instrument for the first time will likely bring up frustration because you won’t sound great right away!
This will actually bring that up right in front of you as a mirror, so you can see it, love it, and soften it.
I also have courses that teach people classical and native flute, a women’s retreat coming up in July, and a Sound Healer Certification training in September.
The Harmonic Goddess Retreat July 25-27 is an opportunity to reconnect with your inner child, heal sisterhood wounds and connect back to your feminine, creative energy through music.
I’ll be guiding workshops on both classical and Native American Style Flute, so you can learn with me in person.
This is an opportunity to come back to play, creation, fun, magic, imagination… all while being held in a container of love and music.

You mention that you can help people recognize their blind spots. What are some common limiting beliefs you see in spiritual seekers, and how do you help them move past these?
I notice a lot of common limiting beliefs, some coming to mind are ‘we need to suffer in order to receive success or abundance, I can’t be of service or spiritual if I have (or want) a lot of money, I will receive love if I give alllll of me even to my detriment, it’s not possible to make money and be supported with my creative/artistic/spiritual gifts.’
The money one is big, and this has been a huge theme in my life to work through as an artist, healer, creative, and musician.
For some people this is rooted in religious and societal programming about money, and it’s up to us to shift that- a simple way is to view it as an energy, a friend, a tool to help create a better world with.
I run a donation based 21 day money manifestation program quarterly, the next one starting July 1, which goes through a system to help reprogram common limiting beliefs around abundance and actually welcome it into your life as a friend.
We all manifest money miracles and celebrate each other, and it’s quite magical.
For the people pleasing patterns of giving so much- it comes down to building up your self-esteem and own inner worth, realizing it’s not selfish to take care of yourself and to love yourself, it’s actually the most selfless thing that you can do- because then you can show up better for other people and truly give from a full cup.
Also, I really believe we are here to thrive- god/source/spirit would WANT us to thrive and be happy, so we absolutely do not have to struggle or suffer in order to receive what we want or be worthy- we already are.
The process for these living beliefs is similar to what I explained in the Sound Bath, getting into a meditative state and going back to those memories where that was programmed, realizing that you were just programmed like a computer system.
It would be like you were six years old and you were a blank computer, and then your parents programmed MacBook 2012 software into your operating system system.
At that time since your subconscious mind was so open, you didn’t get to say, but mom, I want to be a Windows 2025, you just accepted their programming because you didn’t have a choice.
This programming was their parents programming, and back and back and back.
So by seeing that it was never you, it was just a program and now you get to edit the software and plug-in whatever you WANT, that you are the software developer of your own system and life…then you can really start to thrive and work towards creating the life that you want.
I help people UNDO everything they don’t like, think about what they actually DO want, and then start making it happen!
I also love helping people uncover their unique gifts and magic and start dreaming and planning how they can give that to the world.
I love teaching about mindfulness, self-worth and self love, inner child healing, shadow work, and so many other things.
These are all parts of the journey to enjoy our lives and learn how to hold space for ourselves when the challenging things come up.
What role does creativity play in spiritual healing, and how can someone who feels creatively blocked reconnect with their self-expression?
Creativity and imagination for me is connected to the inner child which is the essence of who you really are, who your soul is.
If you look at children playing, you see them making a magic wand out of a stick, laughing, running around, and being in their fullest expression.
They’re not thinking oh my gosh, does she even like me… they’re just busy pretending they’re turning her into a frog.
If we can get back to that childlike state where we believe that we are supported and loved, we can be ourselves and life is magic… it opens up so much for us to actually experience this again.
Then we can also unlock our creativity, our dreams again, and reclaim the ability to make it happen.
What would happen if all the adults came back to this?
So instead of neglecting this true part of you, you’re actually returning directly to it and therefore unlocking your creativity and your access to, well, magic!
A lot of people feel creatively blocked, and that’s normal…especially if that’s been shut off for 30 years!
A great place to start is going back to the things you used to love to do as a child.
Maybe it was painting, singing, running, maybe it was playing an instrument.
If you really don’t know where to start or you can’t remember what you used to love, I always tell people to just try a bunch of different things.
Go rock climbing, take a painting class, start learning an instrument…these things will start to give you clues to what you like and eventually something will stick.
You just have to be willing to try, and you have to be willing to love that inner child within SO much… that you want to get back to them.
For those who feel called to share their healing journey with others but don’t know where to start, what advice would you give on turning their experiences into a soul-led mission?
I would start with journaling what I have learned through my life experiences as if I’m writing a book!
I would document how I’ve grown, the struggles and challenges I overcome, and how I did that.
I would pretend that the past versions of me were scrolling on instagram, and think about what would be SO helpful for them to read.
What would have helped you back then?
What do you wish someone would have said?
Then I would just practice being that light.
In the grocery store, to a homeless person, to a friend that needs to vent.
Start helping and guiding before you ever charge a dollar, and you’ll be learning so much along the way, building confidence and seeing yourself helping these people.
From there, just send the prayers up, continue to evolve, say out loud that you want to do this thing for real, guide the path, show me the steps, send me the people… keep meditating, and be ready to leap when you feel the nudges.
Then take the action to make it happen.
Then, I would celebrate yourself.
Celebrate yourself for the bravery to go beyond the norm, to live a life of service.
Celebrate all the challenges and past versions of you that have gotten you here today.
Literally throw yourself a celebration party that you’re even thinking about turning this into a business that can support the world.
Because if you’re feeling it, it is certainly for a reason.
