What inspired you to establish Nourished Energy, and how does its mission reflect your personal journey and values?
Initially I was driven to create Nourished Energy as a wellness hub for women. Using a combination of energy healing and coaching, my services aimed to work with individuals to empower, teach and inspire them to live more meaningful lives – one that enables them to truly step into who they truly are.
Nourished Energy was a creation that came from my own healing journey (and continues to be as it also reflects my own personal evolution). I disconnected from myself throughout my late teens and into my 20s – turning to unhealthy coping methods rather than dealing with anxiety and depression. If I had the opportunity to learn tools such as Reiki and crystal healing that help to guide us on a trajectory of radical self awareness, acceptance and ultimately self love, I feel like my life would have been vastly different.
On my journey it became incredibly clear that I was largely responsible for my own suffering and although I could not change the past, I had an extraordinary opportunity now to change my life. It was simply up to me to make that happen. I was so grateful to have the access to tools and support that truly changed my life. Nourished Energy is built on the fundamental belief that we are all worthy of living a life that we truly desire. And having someone who believes with you is the stuff that magic is made from.
Nourished Energy offers both training courses and one-on-one experiences. How do these two facets complement each other in your approach to supporting clients and students?
As a practitioner and a teacher of energy healing it has always been really important to me to meet the student where they are at and what feels safe and comfortable for them. Group experiences offer so many amazing benefits – there is something so powerful about healing together, to connect and share a journey with others who are able to see and validate you. But group work isn’t always the best approach and I honor the need to cater for those people as well. For example, for some people their healing journey is deeply personal and they are looking for private mentoring and to be held in a tailored container. For others it may just be that they are super sensitive to the energies of others or they’re much more advanced in some areas and also require a more tailored approach.
What type of services do you offer?
Primarily my focus is on teaching both Reiki and crystal healing for the self and for practitioners. I also have offerings that assist practitioners to be the best practitioners they can be by advancing their practices into Holistic Soul Coaching or mentoring sessions.
How do you navigate the balance between spiritual growth and tangible results in your work with clients and students?
Initially it may seem that spiritual growth and tangible results are separate but an individual quickly learns that just as our mind and body are connected, so too are all aspects of who we are. As a student or client begins to work on their spirituality, it begins to unearth an incredible understanding about who they are. They go on a journey of awareness that takes them to a place where they begin to see that they are so much more than just their tangible world. They are in fact part of an entire universe – that loves them unconditionally and connects them to all there is, that they are in fact a tangible expression of the universe. It’s a magical and empowering journey and as such a privilege to guide someone through this landscape.
This “new” or remembered sense of who we are has profound impacts on our self worth, self confidence and self belief. So as the inner world begins to change, so too does the outer world whether it’s consciously chosen or not.
For example, if someone begins to increase their self awareness, they may start to realize that what they thought they liked or didn’t like (people, work and so on) no longer aligns with this new sense of self. As a result, we see people naturally making shifts in their outer world to reflect the level of self belief in their inner world.
How do you incorporate the concepts of love and magic into your approach to healing and coaching? How do these elements contribute to the transformational experiences you offer?
I believe that love and magic are the most important parts of our human journey. As Rumi said “love is the water of life.” It’s our responsibility to remember and return to love. There is much glory in the human experience – to tangibly experience love on all levels – whether it be the love of another, of Mother Nature, or to reach that point of falling in love with one’s self. Love is the catalyst of miracles, of infinite possibility, of magic.
Looking ahead, what are your aspirations for the future of Nourished Energy? How do you envision it evolving and expanding to continue serving your community of clients and students?
With the industry continuously growing year on year, there are so many more practitioners and healing modalities than ever before. This shows how much people are really ready to be the best versions of themselves, not just for them but they understand the impact self healing has on their loved ones and the entire collective. I think we are at an amazing time in history where the gap between science and spirituality is closing and we live in a world where we are seeing more individuals taking responsibility for their health and wellbeing.
As such, I see the role as a mentor to be more important than ever. There has been a significant shift in the practitioner/client or teacher/student dynamics and I see more and more that our roles are much more about partnering with our clients and students as they navigate their own way to optimal health and wellness. But it means that we also need to be continuously committed to working on ourselves as well to meet our client’s needs as they evolve and it also requires us to uphold our ethical commitments as the best practitioners we can be.
Ensuring I can help support my students to be the very best they can will continue to play a large role in the Nourished Energy ethos and flows on to the development of my courses and offerings.
