MysticMag finds out more.

What does dance mean to you, and what impact does it have on your life?

I could write thousands of pages about the healing and confidence building world of dance.

Dance and the performing arts were my saving grace. Dance was what saved me from a mundane world of not knowing what to do when I was 18.  Dance, song and theater took me to many places in this world.

I do not remember how or why I ended up in a series of jazz dance classes when I was approx. 18. When I look back, I do not remember signing up. I do not remember speaking with anyone about wanting to take a class, yet somehow I was suddenly in a class. I still believe that I was picked up and put there by my Guardian Angels. Dance is a healer.

All movement is a healer. The world of technique dance, that is to say being in a dance class learning the warm up, the dance combinations across the floor and the choreography, is one masterpiece of meditation, and being tuned in and tapped into life and all that it encompasses. This holds true for other modalities as well. Dance is about cleansing and taking you down the rabbit hole of your life, and if you surrender and jump then it is very possible that your life will continue to evolve and blossom.

Dance showed me how to release old trauma, because it was the one thing that I kept coming back to. It became a teacher, a guide to whom I would say yes to and show up to learn its wisdom.

In talk therapy, we know that the client is sitting or lying down. Dance, on the other hand, is a therapy, unknown and unlabeled as therapy, yet it is one of the most profound therapies that urges you to surrender, evolve and be involved.  We must be 100 percent present to what is happening within us and all around us.

To learn dance sequences, across the floor movement, choreography, etc… we are in tune with all of our senses. We must see, hear, feel, touch and even taste all aspects of where we are in the moment.  When you are fully present then nothing else can bother you. When I was just beginning to dance, all of my fears, unworthiness, shyness and the like showed up. And yet I kept going back to my dance class. I would make mistakes if my teacher walked by me, I would make mistakes if my teacher asked me to demonstrate.

Eventually none of this mattered because the more you do something the better you get and the more you are just there to dance and let the dance be your inner guide and therapist without even knowing it.  If someone is watching, it no longer matters because you are not just dancing, you are the dance.

When we sweat we are cleansing and clearing the body. Dance offers natural medicine to heal emotional and physical ailments. Dance is a coach who, in all ways, holds your hand until you let go and fly. Dance will find all or most of the lost puzzle pieces within our psyche and put us back together, placing each lost piece of the puzzle back with love. Dance will give you confidence to break free from yourself.

As a singer, I have learned how important it is to sing a lot. When we walk, sleep, dance, stand etc… we can hold our breath, yet when we sing, we must breathe. Singing adds to the magic of what dance provides.

How would you define the 3D world and do you believe that there is soon to be a shift?

We are in the Matrix and The Truman Show in the 3D world. When we realize that everything was programmed for us to be in the 3D is when we can break free of it. There is love everywhere. We are loved by so many seen and unseen guides in our lives,

How and when did you first start to communicate with animals and was this a natural progression of your spirituality?

I was always a sensitive child with the world and Beings around me. Everything was alive and everything was there for its own purpose. I always felt an affinity with animals, plants, the seasons and nature. Communication just seemed natural. A child’s intuitive abilities are highly evolved until the child is talked out of the truth they know, and instead, are taught to not trust themselves on so many levels. I was always rooting for the underdog and taking care of the underdog.

When I was an adult living in Florence, Italy, I had a very profound experience.

I had just come from the market. I was opening the door to my building when I saw a young boxer dog walking around with a red leash. I mention red leash because it was something that still looks bright in my mind’s eye. It was most likely the red color that caught my eye in my peripheral vision first. I put my bags in the hallway and took the leash and began to walk along the street and into the stores to see if anyone knew the dog. After a few attempts, one store owner let me know that a woman and her baby had been there but the baby had begun to act up. They left in a rush and he was pretty sure that the dog belonged to them.

I asked if he knew where they lived. He pointed towards the area where he thought they lived. “Grazie Mille”, I said and off we went, holding the red leash of the sweet boxer dog. We walked down the street until we came to an intersection. We could go left, right or across the street. I asked the pup where he lived. I asked a few times as I was now feeling time going by and was thinking about what I had to do for the rest of the day. I asked the dog again. Where do you live? Nothing. And then I thought to ask him in Italian. “Dov’e abiti?”  “Where do you live?”

Within seconds that sweet pup took me to the right. We crossed the street and he began sniffing around. Suddenly, he moved even more quickly into an arched alley of a building. The pup began sniffing baby carriages and bikes and then flew up the stairs. I let go of the red leash and followed him up the stairs. When I arrived at the top of the stairs the dog was sitting calmly in front of an apartment door. I could feel the enormity of what had just happened between this four legged Being and myself. We shared an intuitive and telepathic communication within seconds.

And that is how intuition and telepathic communication work. It is fast! I knocked on the apartment door and a woman asked who was there. I let her know that I had a dog with me and that it might be hers. She swung the door open and was surprised. I heard the baby crying in the background. She told me that she was so overwhelmed that she did not even know that she had left the dog behind. I hugged the dog and then he went into the house. She thanked me and I walked back down the stairs. I still remember feeling as if I were floating as I walked down those stairs. Although I did not fully begin to bring Animal Communication into my medicine bag until years later, It was my destiny to become certified as an Animal Communicator.

What have been a couple of your most valuable life lessons that you can speak of?

Always be as kind as possible. I feel that I was just born that way, yet it is also important to teach our children to be kind, to speak up and stand up, to stop, look and listen before they cross the street. Have you noticed that people just walk into the street and the crosswalk?  If someone needs something, do not put rules on what you will give. Just give if you can. Please and thank you go a long way – It is truly becoming a lost art.

When someone says something to you in regular conversation, know that their words just may be a blessed message of insight just for you. The person in conversation with you does not know that they are channeling a message for you and you do not know this either unless you take a moment and feel that hit.

Looking back at my life I have seen those moments that (in the moment) I missed. Not all of them, thank goodness, yet there are a few that I wish I had taken a moment to return to and  review what the person has said to me so casually – which was just a moment in time. Then one might think that it was just a conversation with a friend, family, and colleague or reading something from a book or a title, lyrics to a song, an animal flying above you, or crossing the street in front of you. There are messages being given to us in just about every moment.

Information is always flowing into our psyche. Some of the information is in our everyday life so their importance to our future can be missed. Give compliments to people, cover your mouth when you yawn. Be courageous and speak up. We are all going to die anyway so what are we waiting for? Who made us so afraid to speak our truth or to go where we want to go?

I remember Maya Angelou telling us something like this, “We have no excuse to not go forward, because those who came before us went through so much. They are the salve that supports us to move ahead with our truth.”

When growing up we learn to take most everything that we are taught and told as the truth.  Later, if we are willing to go outside the lines, we understand that what we were told may not be true. And so we begin to explore more deeply and ask questions. An example is, “Why is it that so much of history was left out of our school books?” “Why when we watched TV as kids, the Indians were always the bad guys?” “Why were cigarette companies still allowed to sell cigarettes when it was clear that they are poison?” Why are toxic products still allowed to be sold on just about every shelf in a grocery store? – They are on every shelf where we buy food and other products. So many questions to ask. So many answers to find.

Children innately know so many truths, especially the ones who have had trauma in their lives. They know that something is way off and what constitutes lies. They are told one thing, yet they feel deeply that what they are being told is not the truth. I am one of those kids. I am an empath and I knew what was not true. There are many of us now who are rising up and living from a higher place and not listening to the 3D world and teaching the children to ask questions. Do not buy trash even when it glitters. Read the ingredients! Look more closely!

In college, a professor asked us to look at the back of a shampoo bottle. He said, “When you see the word or words that bring millions of dollars to the shampoo company let me know.”

There it was, the word “repeat.” “Wash hair and then repeat.”  We all know that in general we only need to wash our hair once. We do not have to repeat. Nor do we have to repeat with a conditioner. We don’t have to use a whole capful of laundry detergent. We do not have to use laundry detergent that has synthetic perfumes and dyes and so forth. We could just use a bit of baking soda, a bit of lemon to wash clothes.

People are conditioned to think that if their clothing smells like a detergent scent then they are moving through life with a garden surrounding them. Instead, their clothing, sheets and towels are poisoning them, their household, their children, animals and the environment. Yet people say, “Who cares, my detergent smells good!” Actually I do not think many people say that at all. They are oblivious to how they are being controlled in the world of PR and propaganda. Scented candles, air wicks, essential oils and so on. If they are not organic then unfortunately they can be toxic.

You may be familiar with the saying, “Question Authority!” It is one of the best sayings for sure. Teach the children to trust themselves.

And after all is said and done, it really is all about love diving deeper and deeper to raise the energy of love to ourselves and all others until there are no others. We are One Tribe. One Love.

How do you work with your clients and what do you offer them?

Each person is an individual, so the client and I would first have a conversation. If the person were in a group workshop or class, she or he would be welcome to first speak with me about anything they wish some days before the workshop. Let us get to know each other. In dance not a lot of words are needed we just keep dancing until we do not have to use words or have to explain. Everything is right there in the movement.

Because I am a prism I offer many levels and layers in the world of performing arts and healing modalities. Dance, The 5 Rhythms, the ecstatic and meditative moving practice, Trinity: Dance-Tantra-Shamanism. Animal Communication, Mediumship,Yoga, and more.

Do you believe you are at one with yourself and the Universe?

Most definitely and beyond. We are all so expansive!
