Neil, could you share your journey into Akashic Records reading and what inspired you to pursue this path?
About 35 years ago, I read a book by Edgar Cayce on channeling the higher self. In it, he documented his experiences under hypnosis, accessing the Akashic Records. I was absolutely captivated. The concept resonated so deeply with me. At the time, a friend of mine happened to be a hypnotherapist, so I wrote everything down and asked her to hypnotize me. We had some promising results—she asked for specific dates and received some compelling information—but it didn’t quite provide the clarity or purpose I was seeking. It felt somewhat incomplete, and I eventually realized I preferred mediumship.
Still, I remained deeply intrigued by Cayce and his work. I read extensively about his 14,000 documented readings and kept track of what I could. My path eventually led me to the Arthur Findlay College in the UK, a renowned center for spiritual studies. While there, I was told that I was meant to be a trance medium. From that point on, everything seemed to unfold quite naturally.
I went on to form my own circle of sitters and entered trance every week for seven years. During those sessions, transfiguration would often occur—different faces would appear over mine, and light phenomena were frequently witnessed in the room. It might sound eerie, but it was actually beautiful. I, of course, was unaware of most of it while in trance, but my sitters described extraordinary events. It became clear to me that trance mediumship was my natural state—I could drop into trance effortlessly.
At that time, my mentor shared that spirit had a plan for me and she told me I needed to go to Sri Lanka. Just before I left, I received a call from a man in Scotland who told me, “I know you’re a medium, and you’re doing this work, but I must tell you—you need to take 12 crystals with you on your journey. You’re going to create a portal.” I had no idea what he meant, but I took them with me. I arrived on 26 December 2004 and then the tsunami hit. Our Tour guide shielded us from this knowledge until we actually saw the devastation firsthand. Following this shocking discovery we were taken to various locations in Sri Lanka and it was at one of these locations that I discovered the exact spot—just outside the room I was staying in—where I instinctively knew the crystals needed to be placed. I arranged them in the shape of a star, and as I activated them, the wind suddenly picked up. A woman nearby helped me, and together we chanted. When I returned to the UK, my mentor said that spirit was very pleased—that whatever I had done had helped souls cross over.
But I couldn’t settle back into life in the UK. I felt the need to return, though I couldn’t get back to Sri Lanka. Instead, I raised some money and I went to Thailand and gave the funds to families who were struggling from the fall out of the tsunami. I then travelled to Vietnam, where I briefly worked with a Buddhist monk who ran a program for blind individuals. I was trained in massage, so I began teaching the blind students some techniques. One day, the monk pulled me aside and said, “You need to understand—your destiny is to be with me for a while. When you return to England, prepare to come back.”
I didn’t think it was possible—I had a corporate job. But then a series of synchronicities unfolded. During a conversation with my CEO, I shared what was happening, and to my surprise, he said, “This is something I’ve always wanted to do. I’m going to give you time off.” I expected a few months—he granted me a full year of unpaid leave. I raised the money through charity efforts, returned to Vietnam, and resumed my work with the blind community. From that point on, miracles—small, beautiful miracles—began happening. I started seeing things I couldn’t explain and felt myself being led toward something greater.
Later, I went back to Thailand, where a holistic center had just opened. There, I met a woman from Spain who was an Akashic Records reader. She gave a talk, which, truthfully, left me disappointed—as I didn’t receive any more information than I already knew. But I discovered she was offering personal readings. I booked a session with her. What she told me within the first 5 minutes changed everything: “You need to stop working as a medium. I see 2 boats and you have to choose one of them. One boat is for mediumship and the other is for the Akashic Records. This 2nd boat will take you on a long journey, the first one wont.” She invited me to her training workshop starting the very next day and told me that my path would be one of miracles.
I completed Level 1 and practiced every single day. My training as a medium and channeler allowed me to develop at a very fast pace. When I returned to the center to pursue Level 2, the founder congratulated me—apparently, I had already been selected as their new Akashic Records reader. The previous reader was moving on, and she had chosen me as her successor. During that training and the 2nd attunement,I started receiving information automatically.
It wasn’t long before I had my first client. I was incredibly nervous but I trusted in the Akashic Records 100%. The reading was a huge success. I’d assumed I would mostly be reading for tourists. But one client asked if she could gift a reading to a friend in America. That session led to another, and they loved it so much that they shared their experiences about me on TikTok. Suddenly, my phone exploded—message after message came in. That was the beginning.
Since then, everything has snowballed. I quickly built a website, and now I have given Akashic Records for clients in Akashic readings in 38 countries. My clients include celebrities, millionaires, lawyers, therapists—even a team of doctors in New York. One therapist was so moved by her reading that she now refers all of her clients to me.
How do you prepare yourself and your clients for an Akashic Records reading session?
When it comes to clients, I don’t ask for too much—just a little preparation. What I strongly advise, especially if you’re seeking an Akashic Records reading, is to do your research. I’ve had clients come to me saying disparaging things about some other Readers. While I understand that everyone has a different way of reading, discernment is important. Look at real client reviews—particularly video reviews—because anyone can write a testimonial, but seeing someone speak about their experience provides authenticity.
Secondly I would advise any future clients to focus on what they really want to know about., I used to receive what I call “throwaway questions”—things you could easily Google. And honestly, that’s a waste of both time and money. I also won’t answer health-related questions; I’m not a doctor and it would be unethical of me to do so. When someone books a reading online, I ask them to submit their questions in advance. This serves two purposes. First, it helps the client reflect on what they truly want to ask. And second, it gives me a sense—just from a glance—of whether they’re coming with a serious intention or not. It also lets me print out their questions ahead of time, so during the session, they’re not scrambling to remember what they wanted to ask—we can just go straight in.
As for my own process, it’s not as simple as logging on and jumping into a session. I receive the client’s questions the morning of the reading, and I begin with my own sacred ritual and prayer to open the Records. I sit quietly, center myself, and read over the questions. Then, when I’m ready, I set up my laptop and begin to channel.
What happens next is deeply spontaneous. I start typing as the information flows in—sometimes I’ll receive prompts like, “Don’t forget to tell her there’s a change coming in two months.” These are little nudges that help me guide the session. If, for example, someone asks about their career, the Records might remind me of something else that needs to be shared, to help them see the fuller picture.
Everything flows organically, and I trust it. That’s how the process works for me.
Could you discuss the significance of the attunement process in accessing the Akashic Records and how it enhances the reading experience?
There are many ways to access the Akashic Records—everyone’s path is different. Some people attend a week course, with no formal attunement, and that works for them. Others may go through hypnosis, which I’ve also tried. There are even books that claim saying a specific prayer will open the Records. I’ve experimented with those methods too, but for me, attunement was the game-changer. It fast-tracked my connection in terms of depth and clarity.
That said, what works for one person might not work for another. I once did a reading for a client who, during the session, realized she had already been attuned—she just hadn’t known it. There is one woman in particular, from Ireland, who stands out. During her reading, I told her she was going to write—and not just a little, but a lot. She ended up writing seven books within two years after that reading. She even mentioned me in her first book. She later sent me a message saying she never imagined she could access the Records, but the material just poured through her. The books she’s written—under the theme Ascended Masters Union—are all grounded in the Akashic Records and are focused on empowering women.
And that brings me to something I feel strongly about: a great deal of what I receive during readings relates to women, their evolution, and the collective shift happening right now. Many of my clients are women, and the Records consistently emphasize the importance of women rising up to their rightful place to restore balance. We’re moving toward a more matriarchal energy, one rooted in wisdom, compassion, and leadership. I see my role as supporting and motivating women to step into their power, to remember who they are, and to embrace their purpose with confidence.
For me, the attunement process was not just a doorway—it was a foundation. It gave me the clarity and trust to do this work in alignment with something greater. And I truly believe we’re at a turning point, especially for women. The Akashic Records are part of that awakening.
What are some common challenges individuals face when trying to access their Akashic Records, and how do you assist them in overcoming these obstacles?
When I train people to read the Akashic Records, I notice the same core challenges come up again and again. These aren’t technical issues—they’re deeper, more internal blocks that prevent people from trusting themselves and accessing the Records with clarity.
1. Lack of Self-Trust
The number one challenge is that most people don’t trust themselves. Even after being attuned, they second-guess what they receive. They might ask, “Is this really from the Records, or am I just making it up?” That self-doubt is where many people stop.
In my training, I work on breaking that pattern. I give students a question and ask them to write down their response. I tell them to keep writing—even if it feels silly at first. The first two sentences are usually just their conscious thoughts, but after that, something deeper often begins to come through. That’s when the energy of the Records starts to flow. It’s about pushing past the noise of the mind and letting the information unfold.
2. Lack of Confidence
Confidence is essential. If you want to become an Akashic Records reader, you have to be able to sit with a stranger for an hour and speak clearly—without knowing what you’re going to say ahead of time. That takes guts. A lot of people aren’t ready for that level of trust in themselves or in the process.
That’s why I focus so much on building confidence. I’m not just giving people a technique—I’m helping them mold themselves into intuitive readers who can tune in accurately and deliver messages with integrity.
3. Overconfidence
Ironically, the only thing more difficult than self-doubt is overconfidence. I’ve had people come into a two-day training and leave thinking they’ve mastered everything. Then they go out and give inaccurate or even harmful readings. It’s not only frustrating—it can be damaging to the people receiving the session.
True spiritual growth requires humility. The Records are not about ego or performance—they’re about service and alignment. So I teach that while confidence is crucial, it must be grounded in responsibility and discernment.
Could you provide an overview of the training courses you offer for those interested in learning to access their own Akashic Records?
This two-day foundational course is designed for those who feel called to access the Akashic Records for personal use. It’s not about reading for others—this is about deepening your spiritual connection, learning to trust your own channel, and receiving direct personal guidance.
For me, the attunement process is absolutely essential. I’ve explored many different approaches—hypnosis, reading prayers from books, and courses that didn’t require attunement—but none of them truly opened the door the way attunement did. That process was the key that fast-tracked my access, and it’s the heart of how I now teach others.
The first morning of the course begins with a light overview of the history of the Akashic Records, just enough to give context. Then we focus on preparing the energetic field with clearing exercises, followed by a guided visualization where participants meet their spirit guide. This is an important step because when people first connect with their guides, they don’t always receive words. The guides tend to show symbols, colors, and images, and the student has to learn how to interpret that subtle language. We spend time practicing how to receive and decode those first messages.
In the afternoon, we focus on the Sacred Prayer used to access the Records. I teach this step-by-step because it has to be memorized—it’s the key that allows people to open and close their Records. After we’ve gone through it carefully, we move into the attunement itself. That ceremony is the core of the training. Afterward, we do some simple exercises so everyone can begin exploring their Records. I often recommend that they leave their Records open overnight just for that first time.
The second day is where the real fun begins. We work with reflex points in the hands and spend time with color, which is another powerful language of the Akashic realm. The day is devoted to intuitive exploration and practice. I encourage people to keep writing, to get used to receiving without second-guessing themselves. I also guide them through the difference between simply writing something down and fully channeling spontaneously.
Many people get blocked at this stage because they expect it to come as a voice or with certainty, but what often comes first is doubt. That’s why writing can be so effective—it gets you out of your own way. When you write, you can look back later and see the clarity and insight that came through, even if it didn’t feel like it at the time.
After the course, the real integration begins. I assign homework: writing three questions a day for fifteen days, opening the Records, and answering those questions in a dedicated journal. This step is not optional—if someone isn’t willing to commit to this, then they’re likely not ready for the development. It’s this practice that helps people build their confidence, strengthen their channel, and develop a personal relationship with the Records.
Everyone experiences self-doubt in the beginning. That’s normal. But over time, with consistency and a willingness to be honest and open, students begin to recognize the feeling of being in the Records. They begin to trust the information they receive. And eventually, channeling becomes a natural part of their spiritual life.
This course is about helping people get past their minds, access the deeper truth available to them, and start living in alignment with that guidance. It’s a sacred process, and it’s an honor to witness it unfold in each student in their own way.
How do you see the role of Akashic Records readings evolving within the context of modern spiritual practices?
As someone who started out as a medium, I’ve seen a real shift in what people are looking for. Mediumship tends to attract older generations—people searching for connection with loved ones who’ve passed, seeking proof of life after death. But the younger generations? They’re not so interested in that anymore. They want to know how to improve their lives—right here, right now. And they want it quickly. They’re used to social media, short videos, and quick answers. They’re not looking for someone to talk at them for an hour—they want something that cuts through the noise and resonates instantly.
That’s why I believe the future is in the Akashic Records.
The Records are inspirational and motivational. They empower people to access their own answers, their own truth. That’s what this generation is looking for: personal growth, self-knowledge, and inner direction. And especially for women, the Akashic Records hold something profound. It’s written in the Records—women will rise again. I know this as truth. There are women all over the world right now who are waking up, who are remembering, who are ready. It’s happening already—there’s a building of energy, a shift. You see it in the young women who instinctively know their power and place, and in the older women who feel a second wind and know, deep down, that this is their time.
This isn’t about dominating or competing. It’s about restoring balance. What’s emerging is a global rebalancing, and the Records can be a tool to support that, to guide it, and to help women (and their allies) step into their rightful roles as leaders, healers, and changemakers.
The Akashic Records aren’t here to predict your life. They’re here to help you live your life and to reach your highest potential —consciously, purposefully, joyfully. That’s what the future of this work is about.
