Ratih, your journey spans from Indonesia to Australia, and from architecture into multidisciplinary art. How do your artworks reflect your spiritual journey, and in what ways do you feel creating them facilitates healing or deeper connection with the divine?
I see creativity as more than just a talent—it’s our divine inheritance, the fullest expression of who we are. I believe it’s sacred, rooted in the truth that we’re created in the image of the Creator.
When I create, I return to that essence. I’m not just making something—I’m participating in something spiritual and deeply meaningful.
My art reflects this journey. Whether I’m working with sacred geometry, cultural symbols, natural materials, or intentional color choices, every detail is selected with purpose. These elements aren’t just for decoration—they hold reason, meaning, and the potential for healing.
Over time, I’ve come to understand creativity not only as expression, but as restoration—a way to reconnect with the Divine. And I’ve witnessed how others respond to my work. Something often shifts for them—something softens, stirs, or awakens beyond the physical.
This connection to creativity isn’t just for artists. You don’t have to paint or sculpt to live in alignment with this truth. We all express our creativity in different ways—through how we solve problems, care for others, build relationships, or simply see the world. To live creatively is to live in tune with our highest potential.
How does your connection with your Higher Self guide your healing work, and in what ways does that relationship differ from working with Spirit Guides or Ascended Masters?
I had always been an ambitious high achiever—deeply academic, excelling in math, science, art, and design. I had it all. I was the best student at school, won international awards for my art, and graduated with high distinctions in every subject. I believed it was my duty to give my best in everything I did.
But everything changed when I turned 35.
In a short span of time, I suffered a work injury that forced me to leave a job I loved. I became a single parent. And I took on the full-time care of my father after he suffered a severe stroke. My world, as I knew it, fell apart.
In that darkness, I began asking big questions—Why? Why me? Why now? I had always done my best. I had always tried to live with integrity and purpose. I couldn’t make sense of it all through the lens of logic or hard work alone.
So I turned to something deeper. I stepped outside the material world and into the world of metaphysics.
I began with a two-year diploma in Parapsychology—a comprehensive course on connecting with the Higher Self. It covered meditation, working with Spirit Guides, Angels, Archangels, Fairies, Elemental Kingdoms, Ascended Masters, and many energy healing modalities: chakra balancing, aura work, feng shui, crystal healing, aromatherapy, psychometry, affirmations, manifestation—and even ghost busting.
Through this study, I came to understand the nature of the Self in a new way: me (the lower self), myself (the Higher Self), and I (the union of both). Like an hourglass, the Higher Self is always there—but when the two ends connect, energy flows, and we become whole.
We carry within us a subconscious (instinct), conscious (intellect), and higher conscious or superconscious (intuition or Higher Self). Some even say intuition is the highest form of intelligence.
I learned that one Higher Self can have multiple lower selves across lifetimes. Spirit Guides may be ancestors or any being in the spiritual realm offering guidance. Ascended Masters are those who once walked the Earth and have transcended—still offering wisdom to those who seek it.
This journey transformed me. It brought healing, purpose, and clarity. And it awakened a part of me I never knew was waiting to be found.
When offering intuitive readings, how do you combine tools like tarot, the crystal ball, and psychometry with your own channelled insights to help clients find clarity?
After completing my parapsychology course, I began receiving clear spiritual guidance—from Spirit Guides, Angels, Ascended Masters, and most importantly, my own Higher Self. It was a profound shift.
To deepen my connection and refine how I offered support to others, I explored several spiritual tools. Options included tarot, crystal ball reading, and dream healing. As an academic, I was initially concerned about relying too heavily on memory. So I chose to begin with crystal ball reading to help strengthen my intuition without the need to memorize traditional meanings.
That led me to Doreen Virtue’s Angel Cards, and then to tarot and dream interpretation. I found each tool useful in different ways, depending on the client’s needs or preferences. For instance, I often use the crystal ball for broad, general insights, while I turn to tarot when the situation requires more specific or detailed guidance.
Over time, I realized that I often receive intuitive messages about a client’s situation before I even begin using any tools. The tools, in many ways, are simply mirrors—for both myself and the client—to affirm the intuitive guidance already flowing through.
One thing that stuck with me from Doreen’s workshop was not the content (I didn’t learn anything new technically), but the wisdom she shared:
“When you get nervous, focus on service.” It’s a reminder to let go of ego and shift attention to what we can give.
“There is no competition in healing.” The world needs healing on such a massive scale that there is room for every single healer.
Later, I trained with Dr. Eric Pearl and spent several years traveling the world—up to 40 weeks a year—teaching healing with him. During this time, I worked intensively with energy healing practices. Many clients began experiencing profound, even supernatural, multisensory experiences during their sessions. This was further confirmation that true healing moves beyond the physical into deeper realms of consciousness and spiritual awakening.
How do you incorporate energetic healing into your past life regression sessions, and what kinds of transformations have you seen clients experience as a result?
About ten years ago, after the sudden passing of my partner, I was drawn to explore Past Life Regression. We had shared an incredibly strong connection—one that felt deeply rooted in other lifetimes. His unexpected death left me with not only grief, but also a yearning to understand the soul connection we had and the past lives we might have shared.
This search led me to train with Dr. Brian Weiss, first in Rome in 2017, and again in Rhinebeck, New York, in 2018. During these past life regression sessions, I noticed something remarkable: I was experiencing the same kind of heightened, multisensory states that clients had reported during energy healing sessions with me.
That was a pivotal realization. I discovered that the intensity and clarity of the past life regression experience could be greatly enhanced by introducing healing frequencies into the session. When I guide clients through past life regressions now, I simultaneously bring in these healing frequencies to deepen their connection and enrich their experience. This often results in more vivid memories, emotional clarity, and spiritual insight.
The integration of these two modalities—regression and energetic healing—has become a powerful, sacred part of my practice. It allows clients not only to explore who they have been, but to energetically heal the patterns that have traveled with them across lifetimes.
What kinds of recurring patterns—such as unexplained fears, strong emotional triggers, or cultural affinities—do you find often point to past-life influences?
Over the years, one of the most profound realizations I’ve had through my own spiritual journey—and through working with clients—is the concept of soul recognition. It’s that unmistakable feeling when you meet someone for the first time, yet you feel as though you’ve known them forever. These are often significant soul connections—loved ones, family members, close friends, or even colleagues—who have journeyed with us across multiple lifetimes.
I’ve experienced this in my own life. Certain relationships have carried a deep sense of knowingness, as if we were picking up right where we left off, not in this life, but in another. There’s a kind of energetic familiarity that can’t be explained logically—only felt deeply in the soul.
The same goes for places. I’ve found myself drawn to specific geographical locations without any obvious reason—yet once I’m there, I feel completely at home. It’s like my spirit remembers something my mind does not.
This sense of soul memory also shows up in the form of natural talents or affinities. For instance, people who are gifted in music, art, or science often discover that these abilities aren’t just the result of practice in this lifetime—they’re echoes of mastery from past lives. I, too, have had gifts that came easily to me, and through regression work, I’ve been able to trace them back to earlier lifetimes where I had developed those very same skills.
But it’s not just our strengths we carry forward—sometimes we bring with us limiting beliefs or emotional blocks. Thoughts like “I can’t do this,” or “I’m not good enough,” or “I’m not allowed to…” often have roots in experiences from other lives. When left unexamined, these beliefs can shape our present-day reality and hold us back without us understanding why.
Even our physical health and unexplained fears or phobias can stem from unresolved past life events. I’ve seen clients release chronic pain, deep-seated fears, and emotional trauma once they understood their origins from another time and space. And I’ve experienced this myself—profound healing that began with a single regression session.
In my practice, I combine past life regression with healing frequencies to help clients not only remember but also heal and transform these patterns. It’s not about escaping the past, but rather understanding it and releasing it—so that we can live more freely, consciously, and fully in the present.
