Can you please share a few details about your professional journey with our readers?
I was in the corporate world for a number of years, self-employed as a marketing and communications consultant. Basically doing various forms of corporate writing. I did not enjoy this work at all. More to the point, I often felt that if I were to fall off the face of the Earth, my clients would hardly notice I was gone. They would just plug someone else into my role and carry right along. In other words, what I was doing was not a unique expression of who I am as a soul. I knew intuitively that I had come to Earth to do something else, something that is a unique expression of my soul. But, I didn’t know what it was or even how to figure out what it was.
At the height of my existential crisis in 2003, Spirit staged an intervention. I had my first session ever with a medium and was able to speak with my spirit guides. They introduced me to the concept of pre-birth planning. Also, I was introduced to a woman who has the ability to channel her Higher Self. Her Higher Self spent about 15 hours telling me in great detail how pre-birth planning works, and in particular, why we ourselves plan great challenges before we’re born. But the most powerful and impactful event that year was a spiritually transformative experience or STE in which I was doing nothing more than walking down a sidewalk in the middle of the afternoon. Suddenly, I felt pure, overwhelming unconditional love for every person I saw. This was not a human love, but rather a divine love, a transcendent experience. In this experience, I was caused to know that we as souls are made literally from the energy of unconditional love. I believe this experience was gifted to me because when I researched people’s pre-birth planning for my three books, every pre-birth plan was based on great unconditional love for all involved. Because of the STE, I knew that this finding was truth.
How did Your Soul’s Plan come into existence and what’s the story behind it?
That’s my first book. Your Soul’s Gift is the second, and Your Soul’s Love (which is specifically about the pre-birth planning of challenges specific to romantic relationships) is the third. For all three books, I researched people’s pre-birth plans by collaborating with mediums and channels who could access that type of information. In my third book, I also utilized the type of hypnosis I practice, the Between Lives Soul Regression or BLSR. In a BLSR, which can be done as a private session or in some of our online workshops, people can speak with their Council of Elders, the wise, loving, and highly evolved beings who oversee their personal evolution. People can ask literally any question about their life and get an answer if it’s for their highest good to know that answer. Your Council is always unconditionally loving and completely nonjudgmental. Using these two methods, I researched the pre-birth planning of many of the specific challenges we face in a life on Earth. The intentions were to help people awaken, heal, and understand the deeper spiritual meaning and purpose of their most difficult experiences (which is a large part of the healing).
Can you elaborate on the principles and ideas behind pre-birth planning?
I found five main reasons why we plan big challenges: balancing and releasing karma; healing; service to others; experiencing contrast (which means experiencing “not love” so that we understand more deeply what love is), and releasing false beliefs or feelings about self, the main ones being powerlessness and unworthiness. We could spend an hour talking about each one of these, but what I want to mention here is that all five have a common denominator. If you distill them, the common denominator is that we are here learning how to more fully and freely give and receive love. And giving and receiving are equally important from the soul’s perspective. That is the bottom line reason why almost everyone is on the planet.
Specifically, what challenges are your books about?
Your Soul’s Plan: Discovering the Real Meaning of the Life You Planned Before You Were Born, explores the pre-birth planning of physical illness, having disabled children, deafness, blindness, drug addiction, alcoholism, the death of a loved one, and accidents. Your Soul’s Gift: The Healing Power of the Life You Planned Before You Were Born, explores the pre-birth planning of spiritual awakening, miscarriage, abortion, suicide, caregiving, sexuality, adoption, having pets, poverty, mental illness, and other life challenges and experiences. Your Soul’s Love: Living the Love You Planned Before You Were Born is about the pre-birth planning of challenges related to romantic relationships or their absence: infidelity; impotence; raising children alone after the death of one’s partner; being single; and celibate relationships.
Are you currently working on any new projects and books? Can we expect a new book to come out in the near future?
My wife is a channel, She channels a group consciousness, a collective, we affectionately call the Beings of Light or BOL. They exist in a state of oneness or unity consciousness. She’s channeled a number of beautiful messages that we feel can really help people with their lives. I’m writing a Rob’s Reflections section at the end of each channeling. I found an interesting question on your website, so I’m wondering how you’re able to help people answer it. That question is “Why did you choose the people who are in your life?”.
It could be for any of the five reasons I mentioned or any combination thereof. For the most part, the people in your life are members of your soul group, which is a group of souls at the same vibration or stage of evolution. You and the members of your soul group take turns playing every conceivable role for each other over many lifetimes. Some of these roles are scripted to be quite difficult here in the Earth school, but on the other side, everybody loves everybody. We forget that when incarnate, but the forgetting and subsequent remembering that we are love leads to a more profound self-knowing.
