Invite your Shadow to Dance - Sivan Danon

Sivan Danon, the founder of Heal Within You, began her spiritual journey in 2005 after receiving a transformative book on past lives. Exploring various energy healing modalities, she discovered the impact of emotional burdens and ancestral traumas. With a lineage of healers, Sivan believes in empowering individuals to be their own healers by tapping into their inner wisdom. Through specific energy healing techniques, she guides others in rebalancing their chakras, clearing energy blocks, and enhancing their body’s natural healing process. MysticMag has the opportunity to chat with Sivan.

How did your personal journey of healing and self-discovery inspire you to create Heal Within You?

My personal healing journey began when my sister passed away. I was given a book called “Many Lives Many Masters” by Dr. Brian Weiss. At the time I had no idea that this book had set me on a path of removing old programs. Only in retrospect, can I say that her passing and that book was the beginning of my healing and spiritual path. It didn’t happen overnight. It happened so subtly and gradually that I didn’t notice the changes that were happening for me.

What inspired me to create Heal Within You? My family did! My son was going to occupational therapy for almost 2 years and he had hit a plateau. This was all happening at the same time I was faced with my own challenges that seemed to be rooted from past trauma, past events and even ancestral/inherited imbalances that were not even mine. When I finally stopped resisting my path, stopped resisting my intuition and just allowed life to flow things really began to move pretty quickly. My mindset had made a shift that whatever opportunity presented itself that I would say “yes” as long as it felt good within my body completely. The more I said yes, the more that was presented for me.
Angel Reiki school was the first energy healing modality that I became certified in. Followed by becoming certified in The Emotion and Body Code by Dr. Bradley Nelson, and Sound healing to name a few. I have been able to use all of these modalities to not only help my son but to help my entire family. My initial volunteers for all of my certifications kept asking for me to continue working with them. This is how Heal Within You became a way to help people from all over the world.

You mentioned that you believe each person has the ability to be their own healer. Could you elaborate on this belief and how you guide individuals in reconnecting with their inner wisdom and innate healing abilities?

I love this question so much. The only difference between myself and others is that I took time to study, learn, and become an expert in each modality. Anyone can become a healer. It’s all about getting in tune with ourselves. First getting back into a state of balance and alignment. These techniques and many others can be learned. Energy work is about intention. Where you put your intention is where energy will flow to. We are all born with individual gifts. It’s all about helping them discover their own. Sometimes that comes from messages during a session. At other times it’s bringing awareness to something that may have been suppressed but needs to now be addressed and worked through. I have a card that reads “Don’t be afraid to face your shadow, instead invite it to dance”. Fear and doubt keep us from moving forward in living in our soul’s purpose. Doing shadow work takes courage. It isn’t an easy path, but once you remove all that extra emotional and negative energetic weight you can become that person you were always meant to be.

Your approach to healing incorporates various energy healing techniques. Can you provide some insights into the specific modalities you use?

Each modality does something different. Angel Reiki is a blend of mediumship and high vibrational energy work on each chakra. Clients will get messages from their spirit team as I channel them throughout the session. The Emotion and Body Code works directly with the client’s subconscious. Utilizing muscle testing and making a direct connection with their subconscious we can get very clear directions to where there is an imbalance.
This modality differs from traditional therapy. It doesn’t require a client to relive their past, but rather it just acknowledges the imbalance or emotion along with the age and then it can be released. On rare occasions, the subconscious would like to bring up a little bit more to the surface such as a person that might contribute to that imbalance. Sound healing has many benefits as well. Sound healing is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to the body/mind of a person with the intention of bringing them into a state of harmony, health, and energetic balance. When we relax with the sounds of Tibetan/Crystal bowls or the gong, our concentration improves and our emotional tensions and blockages are eased. The sound with its vibrations can ease mental or emotional pain (low self-esteem, worries, fear, anger, anxiety, depression, insomnia). There are times where I also combine these modalities together. I love to do a sound healing in heated water as well. I love the combination of the water and the sound together as a client floats weightlessly while enjoying the vibrations and sounds of the instruments.

Your lineage includes a grandparent who was a Holocaust survivor and great-grandparents who were physicians during WWII. How has your family history influenced your work and mission to continue the healing legacy they started?

I have only heard stories about them until I officially began researching their history. My great grandfather was one of the first doctors of that time to successfully treat people with Tuberculosis. They died in their prime years and didn’t have the opportunity to fulfill what they began. Messages kept coming to me from all angles. Synchronicity after synchronicity kept happening so that I could not ignore the messages. I guess the seed was planted in one of the courses I signed up for when the teacher, who is also a medium, mentioned to me that I have a lot of healing energy around me. That little seed began to sprout from curiosity. I had readings with some of the top intuitives and each kept giving me similar messages. That there is a healer or healers in my lineage. One medium was so specific to say that a woman in a white coat is stepping forward. She has a grandmother’s energy to her. After that reading I continued to get validations and messages. So I continued to remain in flow and just go with it. Here I am today.

What are some of the most rewarding experiences you’ve had in assisting others on their healing journeys?

By far, when a client shares with me the positive changes they are experiencing after each session.
