Denise Cahill on Genuine Healing

Denise Cahill on Genuine Healing

MysticMag chats with Denise Cahill, CNC, the Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and founder of Modern Wellness LLC, a holistic health consulting practice committed to empowering clients on their journey to improved health and well-being. With over 20 years of experience in the bio-med industry, including roles in medical research, clinical nutrition, and wellness product development, Denise brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. Specializing in alternative and science-based nutrition, as well as holistic health treatments, Denise guides clients in discovering the root causes of their health conditions and implementing cost-effective solutions for optimal well-being. Her expertise extends to MSA training, Bio-energetic testing, PEMF therapy, and holistic health coaching.

Denise, bio-energetic testing and root cause discovery are central to Modern Wellness’ approach. Can you elaborate on how the Qest4 bio-energetic scanning system helps identify imbalances within the body and contributes to the discovery of the root causes of health issues?

Yes, of course. I feel very fortunate to be able to introduce bioenergetic testing for those who are not familiar with it because it really is a life changer. From a practical perspective, I call it a computerized medical medium except it is your body doing the talking and our software bringing it to life. It is extremely compatible with the medical system whereas a lab test will tell you what is wrong; Bioenergetic testing will tell you why. Once you learn the root cause, it can be eliminated, and true healing can begin as opposed to masking it with prescription medications.
From a technical perspective, with our system, we have measurable cause and measurable effect. This means we are measuring the energetics of the body and we’re able to target the organ system, so we know which system is energetically weak. From there we broadcast frequencies that energetically represent various items and the body will absorb what it needs to bring it back into balance.
We target an organ system based on the healthiness of the tissue of an organ. We know it vibrates within a certain range of frequencies when healthy and we look for those frequencies.

Modern Wellness focuses on four pillars of health: Discovery, Nourishment, Detoxification, and Consciousness. How do these pillars work together to achieve optimal health at the cellular level, and how does addressing imbalances in these areas contribute to healing and vitality?

In a holistic viewpoint, these pillars all work together as they are not separate from the body. Starting with discovery, the screening process often finds the root cause to why the body is out of balance so we can learn how to compensate for what is missing or needed either through nourishment or what needs to be removed by detoxification protocols. The emotional field that taps into the consciousness component of health also needs to be addressed, particularly when a symptom is chronic and not healing through therapies or medications. Emotional stress of all types is extremely toxic to the body and can manifest into physical illness. For example, if a person takes an allopathic approach to their cancer, they will have the tumor removed and possibly undergo chemotherapy and/or radiation. These things will “remove” the symptom (cancer) but if the reason that caused it in the first place is not addressed, it will return. In addition, if a spiritual person who meditates several hours daily, eats poorly, and holds resentment, or is exposed to chemicals on a daily basis, will become ill because their health does not balance out.

Nutrition and gut health play crucial roles in overall well-being. How does Modern Wellness assess and address issues related to digestion, absorption, and gut health during consultations? Can you share some examples of how nutritional counseling is tailored to individual clients based on their specific needs?

Although I do believe in the saying “you are what you eat,” It’s a bit more complicated. A person may be eating a very healthy, organic whole foods diet but if they are not “absorbing” what they eat, several adverse health conditions could arise. The goal is to learn how the body is digesting food and address issues of bloating, cramping, nausea, diarrhea, etc. With every screening, a food sensitivity scan is required. We often learn that a certain food may be the culprit. Other times it could be mycotoxins, heavy metals, chronic stress, the use of antibiotics, etc. We then come up with a protocol to heal the gut. We even have a test called Heal the Gut Protocol which takes out all the guessing of what needs to be done next.

Detoxification is emphasized as a vital component of health. Could you provide insights into the types of toxins that individuals may be exposed to and how Modern Wellness tailors detoxification protocols to address specific toxin burdens? Additionally, how can individuals reduce toxic exposure in their daily lives?

With the thousands of toxins that are absorbed through our lungs, skin, and foods we eat daily, the question we ask is not ‘if’ we are toxic but how toxic are we? While our detoxification organs are normally equipped to break down and dispose of toxic waste, they often cannot keep up in our toxic world and get stuck in our intestinal tract, where they are reabsorbed. A body cannot be in balance or heal when the cells are overburdened by chemical toxins, heavy metals, viral and bacterial toxins, stress or emotional toxins, petrochemicals, plastics, radiation, EMFs, dental toxins, biofilm, mold, parasites, pesticides, mycotoxins and more.

During your visit, we will discover which toxins are burdening your system, if any, and discuss different detoxification protocols based upon the findings, recommend drainage remedies and the magnetic action of binders to pull the toxins out of the body so that they are not recirculated back into the body. We will also discuss ways to reduce toxic exposure moving forward.

By implementing simple daily detoxification therapies as well as choosing organic whole foods and non-toxic personal care and household products are imperative to clean the body and correct our health issues. Some of my favorite general supplements for daily protocols are chlorella, zeolite, gentle intestinal cleanses containing charcoal and apple pectin, and liver support containing milk thistle and artichoke. A good probiotic is beneficial to provide live bacterial cultures that have been shown to provide specific health benefits such as supporting gut and immune health and contributing to the maintenance of a balanced gut microbiome which is important for the proper functioning of the digestive system and the entire body. Of course, we test each product to learn which is the most biocompatible to your body before making a recommendation. While supplementing is good, another effective way to detox all types of toxins out of the body is a good sweat in an infrared sauna.

Consciousness, including thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and stress management, is highlighted as a key aspect of well-being. How does the screening process at Modern Wellness identify emotional blocks and subconscious beliefs? Moreover, how can individuals actively work on consciousness and mental health to support overall healing?

Understanding that your body and mind are connected is crucial to your overall health and wellbeing. There are several ways we identify emotional imbalances with the Qest4. The same way it identifies physical imbalances, it also identifies emotional concerns. If a particular emotional issue is identified in what we call the Comprehensive Test (our first test which we refer to as the causal test), then it is considered to be a root cause that currently affects some aspects of your overall health. It will also provide the name of the remedy. Generally, most of the remedies are homeopathic tinctures or Bach type flower remedies. We also run a general emotional scan. And lastly, if we are running tests on a particular organ, typically, at least one emotional component will come up as organs hold our emotions. For example, generally speaking, our liver holds anger and frustration, kidneys hold fear, the lungs hold sadness and depression, etc.
For those that want to dig deeper into the psyche to identify and work on clearing out emotional blocks, traumas, and childhood imprints, we have a highly specialized test called Soul Scans which will identify any emotion or block that your body identifies. It could be conscious, unconscious, emotions that you are holding for someone else or even past life traumas.
Depending on the person and the situation at hand, sometimes a person will need a specific supplement to balance out depression or anxiety or other mental health issues that are identified through the scanning process.
In terms of tools to actively work on consciousness, there are little things you can do to be mindful and conscious such as holding a crystal, or becoming aware of your thoughts through observation, and being fully present in our activities. Other ways to tap into our consciousness could range from spiritual retreats, grounding, spending time alone in nature, carving out some quiet time each day for relaxation to get away from the noise and daily pressures of life, tai-chi, yoga, breathing exercises, mantras, meditation, aromatherapy, spiritual counseling, reiki, massage therapy, as well as providing simple acts of kindness to people we encounter.
Actively working on consciousness is a life-long practice that takes the time, the desire and willingness to dig deep within and take responsibility. We are all on a sacred path of discovery growing at different stages. There is no right and wrong or judgment. The key is to be patient with ourselves and know we are exactly where we should be at this time in our existence.
