Can you please share a few details about your professional journey with our readers?
Professionally, I stumbled into it in the year 2007, when I turned 47 and when my youngest daughter had left home. With that, I happened to have more time, and everything started to be still in my mind, but I didn’t realize yet at that time that I had a psychic gift. However, looking back now, I realize that I have used my psychic gift all my life. It’s just that, professionally, 2007 was when I stumbled into it. When I say stumbled, it’s because I went for a reading and the person there kept saying to me “You need to do what you always want to do”. I replied that I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do and that I could visualize an office and maybe doing tax returns or bookkeeping and things like that. However, I also said “I wouldn’t mind doing what you’re doing”.
I thought of a home business doing bookkeeping, not psychic readings, and she said “Cool, I got a class starting on Saturday”, and that’s how I ended up doing a little 10-day course. Even on the very first day, I couldn’t believe that I had been so connected, and because of my background in welfare, I feel that I had been using my gifts all my life.
When I had a client situation, I’d be talking with them, and then all of a sudden little visions and words were always popping into my head and I’d say randomly something along the lines of “Oh, this might sound really weird, but have you thought of…” and they would be like “Oh my Gosh, that would solve it!”, so if I look back now, I can say that I’ve been channeling all my life, but it was still nice just to formalize it.
What is the process of connection to spirit and communicating the information you receive to your clients?
As I mentioned, the technique that I was first taught was what I call channeling, where I do use Oracle cards, but I also use messages that I’m receiving, whether I hear them, see them, or feel them. That means that I use all of the “clairs” – clairaudience, clairsentience, etc. I just let my client or the person in front of me, whoever I’m reading for, know what I’m seeing, hearing, and feeling, and 99.9% of the time they can relate to that particular thing. That way, when I’m reading cards, it doesn’t mean that a card is the same every single time, as I’m seeing different things in it. Sometimes I use the cards themselves for seeing pictures or something might just jump out on the cards. I also might use psychometry, such as jewelry, flowers, and things of that nature.
What is your approach to reincarnation?
I definitely believe in reincarnation. I believe in soul families and that our family group will meet up again in the next life and have been together in past lives, even though we might play different roles. I also feel that we pick our journey, our parents, and our lessons. I also feel that sometimes we meet people and we just click with them. We’re not sure why because we’ve only just met, but it feels like they’ve been a part of our life forever. To me, they are a part of our soul family, our soul group.
The other thing too is that when people meet someone and they get a gut feeling that they are not quite happy with that person and cannot connect with them very well, they should really listen to that. To me, that’s because that person has done something to irritate you or upset you in some way in a past life. You may not remember in this current life what’s happened, but what you’re doing is you’re remembering the feeling and how much that upset you. Your friends might go “No, no, no, they’re fine”, but just trust your gut feeling because what usually has happened is that you’ve had that experience within the past life with that person, while your friends haven’t, which is why they aren’t picking up on that same feeling.
Every time I found myself doubting and telling myself “Ok, I’ll move on with the situation with them”, it always came back to bite me. With that in mind, trust your gut feelings around those types of things.
How can you help your clients’ spiritual development? What can they hope to achieve with your assistance?
During the readings, my guides link with my client’s guides. I try to explain to them and help them understand that their guides are with them. Their major guide that was with them when they were born will stay with them for a lifetime. Then there are other guides who were introduced to them. With that, people are usually quite interested in how that process works, and my strong background in welfare and counseling can also help during the readings.
I also try to focus on manifesting, trying to think positively rather than getting into the negative mode, and I also talk about cleansing – whether you sage or use other incenses to bring in those different types of energies that you need to adapt into your household. I can say that energies are the big thing I really work with. I actually use an energy deck when I read. Energy is really important to me, as we are all energy. We’re made of energy, I believe, and how we think and how we focus our energies can also determine the energy we attract. If we’re negative, we attract negative energy, but if we stay positive, we attract positive energy. In regards to meeting with clients, I really try to help them to have a positive life journey.
What is your favorite part about your profession?
Well, I’m a psychic, as well as a medium, and I suppose that’s going back to what I mentioned earlier. As a medium, I love being able to bring through loved ones to help those that are remaining in this lifetime and life journey, so that they can feel less grief, and help them in their healing process.
It’s not that I can control the spirit world because I can’t, but there are a couple of techniques that I use to bring through loved ones. That includes writing their name down and other information related to them on a piece of paper or a photo that I can give to my client. In this way, I channel that person. As I often say to my clients, unless they give you some really good information so that you know how real they actually are, I tend to ask them to move on.
I also do half an hour of free live readings on Monday nights on Facebook and I’ve got around 15,000 followers on Facebook. I randomly select clients that pop up in the messages, and one particular time I selected a lady and visualized her bench-top, cereals, and spilled milk. Then I felt her mother saying “Don’t cry over spilled milk”. When I presented that to the lady, I was thinking that this could mean something along the lines of “It’s not that bad, just move on”, but when I finished my Facebook live, there was a message for me from this woman. She said that her mother passed away a week before and that she was just having breakfast, since she was in the UK, and that she has just spilled her milk all over the kitchen bench.
That was a really nice confirmation that her mom was seeing the things that were happening inside her house, especially for people following the comments on my live, having in mind that she wrote about it in the comments section. They could attest to the things that I was hearing and seeing on the other side of the world and that they could actually be significant. I do read for people from different parts of the world, as well, including the UK, USA, Ireland, New Zealand, or, naturally, any part of Australia. I do them either by phone or by video.
Is there anything else about your work that you’d like to share that we haven’t covered?
As I mentioned, I do live readings because I feel that in my field we do an energy exchange for people where we do charge because, like everyone, no matter which profession, that money form, that energy form, needs to come back, but I also believe in giving out, so on every Monday, 8 PM Brisbane time, since 2017 I’ve been doing free readings on Facebook. I think I’ve missed about five or six of them in that period.
With that, I feel that it’s nice to be able to give back to people, so I do these random card readings. However, I also do a three-card draw so even if they miss the live there and then, people can, throughout the week, come and actually just pick one of my 3 cards to get a nice message from their guides and angels. I just feel like it’s a nice way of letting people see a sample of what readings can be like, especially for the novices who have never experienced it. Additionally, as I mentioned before, loved ones sometimes come through, which can help people on their healing journey.
Another way in which I give back to the community is that I occasionally attend spiritual churches and do platform readings there. Furthermore, I also link up with people through psychic parties where people would bring an item in a paper bag and maybe do a little scribe on it. I would then read the bag and the items, whether it may be a flower or a piece of jewelry, for example.
To give an interesting example, at one of those parties, a woman brought a mobile phone and put it in the bag. I pulled the phone out, and even though it wasn’t damaged, all I could do was smell smoke. The sign happened to be connected to her son who happened to have died in a house fire, and I managed to meet with him and bring him through. That phone was the only thing that survived at the other end of the house. That was his mobile phone, and he was away from it. Even though this brought sadness to the party in some ways, everyone there actually knew him, so we actually brought everyone a lot of relief as well, knowing that he’s alive spiritually and that he was still connecting and watching the things that they do.
