Beyond the confines of mainstream health practices, Gigi’s holistic philosophy emphasizes the importance of understanding the intricate balance between physical and mental health. In this exploration, Mystic Mag delves into Gigi’s wealth of knowledge, gaining insights into the transformative power of integrative health and the profound impact it can have on individuals seeking a holistic approach to well-being.

As a Certified Colon Hydro-therapist, Integrative Health Coach, and a Patient Navigator, how do you integrate these diverse certifications to provide a holistic approach to wellness for your clients?

When someone is healing, they will heal from within and work their way out, “Bad Stuff out Good Stuff in” including the spiritual aspect. My coaching goes beyond nutrition; it encompasses emotional guidance as well. I teach individuals how to shift their thoughts when they find themselves in a negative state of mind.

For instance, if someone is anxious or scared before using a colonic machine for the first time, I use breathing exercises to calm them down. I emphasize that relaxation leads to a better colonic experience with less cramping. Although cramping is a part of the process, especially when dealing with long-standing “traffic jams” in the colon, it’s temporary. As soon as the “traffic jams” dissolve and pass gently, the discomfort subsides.

We believe constipation and related health issues stem from the accumulation of stagnant waste in the colon. The colon acts as the body’s waste basket, and if waste lingers too long, it can be reabsorbed into the bloodstream, causing health problems. Some studies suggest that most people carry around 20 lbs of waste at any given time.

In various parts of the world, dietary habits are changing, resembling the American trend, with an influx of fast food. This dietary shift, combined with exposure to toxins from various sources such as healthcare products, food, air, and water, underscores the importance of detoxifying the body and replenishing it with essential nutrients.

To maintain a healthy balance, it’s crucial to eliminate toxins, cleanse the body, and introduce beneficial elements like supplements and proper nutrition. This approach not only applies to the physical realm but also extends to emotional well-being.

Emotional freedom techniques, such as tapping on Meridian points and affirmations, play a vital role in achieving emotional wellness. Acknowledging self-love and forgiveness are integral components of this process. Even when individuals are following a healthy lifestyle, unresolved emotional issues can hinder healing.

Research, including studies by individuals like Bruce Lipton, suggests a connection between a positive mindset and cellular health. Your attitude and emotional well-being significantly impact your ability to heal. Tools like breathing techniques and mindset shifts, encompassed in methods like Oasis training, help individuals change their perceptions and turn negative situations into positive learning experiences.

Granting yourself permission to heal and fostering self-love are essential steps in this journey. A positive mindset not only aids in personal healing but also attracts positivity from others. It all starts with a clean state of mind and body, and the ripple effect extends to those around you.

Having expertise in the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), how do you incorporate this modality into your practice, and what specific benefits have you observed in your clients through the use of EFT?

EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique, addresses issues that often begin small but can escalate. For instance, I recall a lady who initially expressed frustration about her roommate stealing her expensive imported cheese. However, as we delved deeper into the emotions surrounding this issue, she ended up sharing more profound feelings and memories.

It’s akin to peeling layers of an onion. By asking a few questions, we navigate through the emotions associated with the roommate situation, leading to the discovery of deeper emotions and memories. In this particular case, the process revealed her anger towards her mother.

I remember a humorous anecdote from our first day in EFT school, where the instructor jokingly declared, “Before you sit down, I’ve got one thing to tell you: It’s your mother’s fault. There, you’re all cured.” While humorous, it highlights the concept of addressing underlying emotions.

The key is to work through both negative and positive emotions, allowing oneself to heal progressively. As individuals explore and acknowledge their emotional layers, they pave the way for a more comprehensive healing process.

What type of services do you offer?

We specialize in what I like to call “The Dirty Work,” serving as the waste management business for our clients. I actively collaborate with numerous healthcare providers in my area, leveraging my role as a patient navigator and integrative health coach. I’ve coined my approach as integrative patient navigation, where I assist individuals by creating a tailored wellness team based on their specific needs. This may involve recommending services such as chiropractic care or acupuncture, particularly for those dealing with pain or various healthcare issues.

Our clinic focuses on addressing a range of health concerns, including sexual wellness. We utilize an ESWT (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy) machine, also known as Shockwave or EPAT, to apply frequency therapy to areas of pain. This process aids in breaking up tissue, promoting blood flow, and facilitating healing. It goes beyond a typical deep tissue massage, offering a more comprehensive approach to dissolve cells in areas with limited blood flow, including scar tissue, calcifications, and plaques and aiding new cells to grow by bringing blood flow filled with nutrients, oxygen and “cell repair kit” with it.

Once the dissolved material is reintroduced into the bloodstream, our naturopath and health coach collaborate to design a personalized diet or supplement plan to support the cleansing process. In addition to these measures, we incorporate colonics to cleanse the intestines thoroughly.

Our clinic also features infrared saunas, including an infrared dome and a biomat. The biomat, enriched with amethyst crystals and other materials, provides more than just heat—it offers frequency therapy with proven scientific benefits. This therapy is particularly beneficial for reducing inflammation and pain, making it suitable for individuals with conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, tumors, cysts, and calcifications.

Another essential component of our services is the ionic foot baths, which extend beyond the visible “yucky” stuff in the water. These baths contribute to cellular healing by introducing frequency through the feet.

I’m proud to share that our clinic has invested in top-of-the-line frequency machines. Quality matters, as low-quality machines made of plastics can potentially drain energy and cause harm, as seen on some smaller research studies. I made a conscious decision to invest more money in the right machines, ones supported by scientific research and studies. While it may have been a significant financial commitment, I believe in doing things the right way to ensure the well-being of our clients.

The field of integrative health is dynamic and ever evolving. How do you stay updated with the latest research and advancements to ensure that your clients receive the most comprehensive and current guidance?

Alright, so we have chat rooms where us colon hydro therapists gather once a month to engage in discussions, sharing insights, and learning from each other’s experiences. Additionally, we are part of a larger organization that facilitates the exchange of information and literature among members. This collective knowledge is continually evolving, addressing an expanding range of health issues.

Our learning process involves a combination of testimonials and scientific information. Some practitioners conduct tests on poop, blood, and other factors. For instance, our Shockwave machine, used in ESWT (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy), is backed by substantial scientific evidence, including MRIs that visually confirm its effectiveness. While testimonials are valuable, incorporating real scientific evidence adds another layer of credibility to our practices.

Client testimonials remain crucial, as they offer unique insights into individual experiences. Clients often possess a deep understanding of their own bodies, making their input invaluable. It is essential never to disregard or casually overlook the input of clients or patients.

To stay updated and maintain our certifications and licenses, constant communication and ongoing education are vital. Regular classes are a part of our routine, ensuring that we stay informed about the latest developments in our field and accumulate the necessary credits to uphold our professional qualifications.

Being trained in both colon hydrotherapy and emotional well-being techniques, do you find a connection between physical and emotional health, and how does this influence your approach to client care?

Emotional responses are not limited to massage; they can occur during various holistic modalities such as reflexology and even on the colonic machine when undergoing a cleansing session. Witnessing the release of built-up emotions, some individuals may find relief and start crying during the process. In some instances, the emotional release is so profound that the person is sobbing.

When this happens, I make it a point to check in with them. I ask if they would like to talk about it or if they are open to trying a technique like tapping to address their emotions. If they express a willingness to explore their emotions, I engage with them in the process.

Importantly, if someone is in pain, I prioritize addressing their immediate concerns without introducing additional charges. It’s about understanding and assisting with whatever emotional or physical challenges they are experiencing, without creating additional financial barriers. We strive to create a supportive environment that can handle a variety of emotional and physical situations.

In your experience, what are some common lifestyle factors or habits that significantly impact digestive health, and how do you work with clients to address these aspects in a holistic manner?

Eat like your great, great, great, great grandparents. If you can find anyone born before 1930, discover how they ate. Stay local, stay fresh, and minimize exposure to chemicals. The abundance of chemicals in various products, from shampoo and hair dye to nail polish, poses a potential health risk. Be mindful of GMOs and consider reverting to diets before the introduction of such substances.

Embrace clean mineral water to keep stomach acids adequately acidic for effective food breakdown. Fermented foods like cabbage and apple cider vinegar can help maintain optimal stomach acidity. While immediate relief from heartburn or similar issues may be achieved with remedies like Tums, long-term use can lead to an overly alkaline stomach, potentially causing more significant problems in the future.

Similarly, consistent use of laxatives may provide immediate relief but could contribute to larger issues down the road. Such practices can create a build-up of damp, heavy, dark sludge in the body, potentially leading to long-term complications.

To address these concerns, it’s essential to prioritize the intake of clean water, relying on gentle methods like colonic treatments. A well-designed system, such as the Libby, ensures a thorough and gentle cleansing process that allows the removal of substantial waste.

In light of potential issues with product labels and safety concerns, the article recommends Fullscript as a reliable platform for purchasing supplements. By signing up for an account on their website, users gain access to a variety of supplements, skincare products, and more, all with a 10% discount. It is emphasized that investing in quality supplements, even if pricier, is crucial for ensuring safety and efficacy.

Be extremely cautious. In 2006, I was in a critical condition, and my survival depended on the minerals and supplements I took to heal my body. I firmly believe that I wouldn’t be here today if I had been using inferior-quality supplements. It was crucial to opt for pharmaceutical-grade supplements that underwent independent third-party testing.

I believe these high-quality supplements played a significant role in reconstructing my colon. Back in 2006, medical professionals initially proposed removing more than half of my colon, and the alternative would have been a life with a colostomy bag or facing the risk of death. Recognizing the importance of finding the right healthcare professionals, consulting with a naturopath, and investing in top-notch supplements, I managed to avoid such drastic measures.

Choosing reliable doctors and incorporating naturopaths into your healthcare strategy is imperative. Store-bought supplements may not suffice, considering the uncertainties associated with online shopping. Therefore, it’s crucial to be discerning about your sources, especially when navigating the vast online marketplace.
