Lilliana from Hestia’s Muse is a prominent Astrologist who kindly agreed to an interview with Mystic Mag. Here’s what she had to say about her beginnings, her relationship with customers, as well as the Hestia’s Devotion Course.
What inspired you to start your psychic reading business? What about Astrology?
I began studying tarot in 1999 and I found it to be a powerful tool for self-awareness and bringing insight into the patterns in one’s life. From there, I eventually began reading for others professionally and just found such a sense of belonging and purpose in the metaphysical and spiritual community.
Eventually, my spiritual studies brought me to Astrology and this is where I discovered a sense of deep understanding and true purpose. Astrology has been such an amazing source of growth, insight, and development in my own life that I was inspired to share that with others in whatever way I can.
What is the most popular type of reading that customers are looking for? What are the most common concerns that interest them?
A lot of people are just curious about the basics of Astrology – what is their birth chart, what does it mean, how does it work? I specialize in Astrology Readings that help people who have little to no training in Astrology begin to break down the basics and understand their birth chart on a personal level.
An initial Birth Chart analysis reading includes some basic information to help my clients begin to break down the symbols on the wheel in ways that they understand so they can begin a process of deeper study. It also can be similar to a counseling session, as together with the chart we can start to identify the client’s desires, goals, and base drives or personality traits.
From there, we can use astrology to assist us in goal setting and manifestation; or in problem-solving related to interpersonal relationships, life path, career goals, and more. My most popular Astrology Readings are a Basic Birth Chart Analysis (described above) or a Transit Reading – in which we look at the Birth Chart in conjunction with the influences of present Astrological Transits for goal setting or deeper awareness of current life lessons.
We heard that you are offering Hestia’s Devotion course. Could you please share some more information about it?
Hestia is the Greek Goddess of the Home and Hearth. I have personally worked with this Deity in my spiritual practice for over a decade. I found Hestia’s main lessons to be about self-care and devotion to one’s inner flame.
Working with this Goddess is what inspired me to create the name of my business – Hestia’s Muse. However, I found it sometimes difficult to research this Goddess and hard to find information about working with Her.
So I created a Devotional Course where I have compiled a lot of research and resources related to Hestia and how to work with Her. I have also included Astrology in this course – as I found that by connecting with the Asteroid Vesta one can find personal insights into what this Goddess wants to show you in this life.

What is the most important detail in maintaining a relationship of mutual trust with customers?
Listening. I want my client relationships to be mutual and I find that listening is just as important in a session as delivering a message or interpretation. It is great when a conversation unfolds and we both get to see each other as genuine people rather than just “Client” and “Astrologer”.
Through listening, I can better discover what it is that the client is seeking through their session.
Through listening, we can work together to find the area that I can best help the client with and we move forward with deeper trust and mutual respect.
In this field, it is often thought that word-of-mouth and personal recommendations are the most important when picking a psychic reader – is this true?
I find this to be very true! I don’t have a large budget for advertising, and the majority of my clients find me because they heard about my services from a mutual friend.
Personal reviews and sharing by word of mouth or on social media is the best way to support small businesses and independent contractors.
This is especially true with services that are so personal and intimate like an Astrology Reading.
What is the best part of your job?
Helping people find greater clarity and a deeper relationship with themselves. Astrology can be like a cosmic mirror of the soul – the stars and planets are constantly teaching us about ourselves and the world we live in. I am honored to share that with others!
I love seeing the flash behind someone’s eyes and the smile on their face when something suddenly “clicks” and makes sense for them, and I love turning people on to the depth and insight that the study of Astrology can bring. I really feel like this is my dream job – I get to share my passion with people in a way that often helps them navigate their own life in more meaningful ways.
