What inspired you to become a spiritual advisor and high priestess, and how did you establish Sunshine Readings?
The inspiration to become a spiritual advisor, high priestess, and the owner of Sunshine Readings was drawn from my journey to sobriety and recovery that has been central to my life’s narrative. While I was raised in the Catholic faith, my spiritual journey diverted from this path in my teenage years. Guided by a deep curiosity and desire for exploration, I delved into the realms of the esoteric and occult, pioneering my spirituality in a unique direction.
As an adult, I allowed myself the freedom to dabble and explore these new spiritual territories, but it wasn’t until a crucial turning point of my life that I began to take this exploration seriously. A few months after embarking on my sobriety journey with the support of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), I had a profound realization. I felt a deep-seated need to anchor my being within a spiritual framework that was uniquely my own.
Inspired by this newfound awareness, I launched a Facebook page called “Sunshine Readings” on January 20th, 2020. I began by offering free weekly tarot card readings, a humble initiative that would eventually bloom into a full spiritual advising service. This was the pivotal step that set the course for my current role. Over time, more and more people began seeking my spiritual guidance, entrusting me as their guide through magical rituals, and acknowledging my role as a high priestess.
Sunshine Readings was born out of a personal need for grounding and has since blossomed into a beacon of spiritual guidance for others. It is a testament to the transformative power of recovery, resiliency, and the pursuit of a personally resonant spirituality.
How do you ensure that you maintain a clear channel for receiving messages from guides and loved ones during your readings?
Ensuring a clear channel for receiving messages from guides and loved ones during readings is a process deeply rooted in personal wellness and spiritual upkeep. My belief is that as long as I remain dedicated to my path of recovery, I will always maintain a clear conduit for these messages. This clarity was not always present; before my journey to sobriety, my innate gifts for receiving messages were often muddled in chaos. Distinguishing between my own cluttered mental state and genuine messages from the spiritual realm was a challenging task.
Embracing recovery has meant embracing a life that is secure, brimming with compassion, enriched with introspection, and abundant in love. This life, lived fully and consciously, equips me with the high vibrational frequency necessary to receive and interpret messages with superior clarity. It is a state of being that allows me to effectively tune in to the high-vibrational, loving energies eager to communicate. By sustaining this compassionate, reflective, and love-filled life, I keep my spiritual receiving channels open and clear, fostering an environment where the loving energies can continue to flow in unhindered

By weaving in diverse spiritual practices based on the client’s preferences, I aim to provide an experience that resonates deeply within their beliefs.
Often, individuals approach spiritual guidance during moments of profound overwhelm. It is my duty, then, to not only comprehend their spiritual inclinations but also effectively communicate with their spiritual guides. These interactions enable me to offer the most valuable and relevant service to them, assisting in their journey of self-discovery and healing.
For those who resonate with Christian teachings, our sessions may engage with topics of Jesus, angel prayers, and other Christian-centric spiritual beliefs. Meanwhile, for clients drawn towards rituals, universal laws, energy healing, and more esoterically aligned spiritual beliefs, our discussions will veer towards these areas. This fluid adaptability allows me to bridge the gap between varying spiritual modalities and the individual needs of my clients.
My trust in my spiritual guides, coupled with an unwavering belief in the wisdom of my client’s spiritual guides, reassures me that the path we tread in our sessions will always be the most beneficial. How do you handle situations where a client may be resistant or skeptical about the messages you’re receiving for them?
At the core of my practice, there’s a clear understanding that while I have been gifted with unique abilities, I am also human. My interpretation and translation of the messages I receive from the spiritual world may not always align with a client’s expectation. I always encourage clients to share their thoughts and validate the messages as they resonate, for our spiritual guides and angels often collaborate to ensure the right messages get across.
It’s also worth noting that comprehension of these spiritual insights does not always occur in real-time. It’s common for individuals to fully understand the significance of the session in the ensuing days or even weeks. They may start connecting the dots, and the messages that once seemed cryptic become apparent.
In essence, an individual’s openness plays a crucial role in the value they derive from the session. I try to help them understand that the more receptive you are, the more transformative the experience.These sessions are a partnership between us, and understanding this dynamic creates a more enriching session for all.
What methods do you use to protect your own energy and maintain balance while performing readings for others?
My journey in my own energetic balance with readings began with an elaborate ritual that I used to perform before every reading. As my career evolved and I began traveling and participating in shows, maintaining this ritual became increasingly difficult. To keep the essence of these protective and invigorating rituals with me, I had them symbolically tattooed onto my skin. Today, these tattoos serve as my anchor, enabling me to connect with their energy before each show.
My practices to safeguard myself from unwanted energies don’t end here. I reach out to my spiritual guides, imploring their assistance in shielding me from negative energies. With their help, I strive to channel messages of comfort and clarity for my clients, while also creating an environment where those who wish to communicate from the other side feel welcome.
During the course of the shows, between every client, I pause, take a breather, and pray. This spiritual interlude helps me recenter and rejuvenate my energy. Additionally, I perform dry baths, take short walks, or even do a reading for myself to ensure I’m in top energetic form. This way, I manage to maintain a high-vibrational, positive energy field throughout the show, for myself and for my clients.
