Avoiding imbalances and energy sound therapy with Michelle Poole (Reclaim Balance)

Avoiding imbalances and energy sound therapy with Michelle Poole (Reclaim Balance)

At a difficult moment of her life, Michelle Poole found Energy Sound Therapy and started to treat herself and later helping others to find the balance between the physical, emotional, and spiritual sides.

Check out this special interview for the MysticMag blog.

When did you discover energy sound therapy? What effect did it have on you to decide to work with it and to help other people using it?

I found Energy Sound Therapy in 2014. I’d never heard of it up to that point. I was having a very difficult time in my life and was at my wits’ end, willing to try anything.

I found Energy Sound Therapy through a friend of mine, who had experienced it just by chance and found it amazing! She knew I was going through a very hard time, so she called me right away to tell me to try it! She felt amazing and thought it could benefit me with what I was going through.

I made an appointment and went in for my first Sound Therapy session and felt amazing after it! So, I thought: if I can feel this good after just one session, what else can this do for me? So, I stared getting regular sessions and in 2018 I decided to become a practitioner because it impacted absolutely every area of my life in a positive way and I needed to share it with people!

I saw on your website an interesting quote: “most imbalances can be improved or completely corrected by working with the energy of a body”. What are the most common imbalances you work with your clients?

I see many people having high anxiety, stress, sadness, grief, frustration, and anger. These were common years ago but with the pandemic, it’s been overwhelming for people in different ways in the last few years. People are carrying a lot of those feelings right now.

Is there any way we can avoid imbalances even if living our hectic routine?

It really is a balancing act. Physical, emotional, and spiritual sides are all connected, and it is a balancing act between the three. We are so hectic, all the time. Many times, we are on autopilot as we go through our day, not even thinking about what we think most of the time. Our thoughts do create our reality and the world around us. A lot of that comes from our internal dialogue, thoughts and feelings It is estimated that about 80% of our thoughts are the same day after day. What we think about is habitual. If you don’t already, pay attention to what you are thinking about. Is it positive or negative? Would you like to change some of those thought patterns? You most certainly can! Our thoughts are very powerful, choose the good ones!

Creating positive habits that are around self-care. Taking 5 minutes to focus on our breathing and just look around. We don’t always need to be doing something. Doing so in silence can be amazing! Silence truly can be golden!

It’s imperative to carve out time in your daily and weekly schedule to do things for yourself – that is, what makes you happy and what you enjoy doing.

How does your body code session work? What is the process?

Body code sessions can be done either in-person or remotely. It is energy work, which can be done from wherever you are because everything is energy, and we are all connected by it. When a client contacts me, we talk about what they want to work on. If they have several things going on and are not sure where to start, I’ll have them make a list of their concerns and I’ll muscle-test to see which ones are the priority, where we need to start.

Body code is releasing imbalances and trapped emotions through the governing meridian, using a magnet. By identifying the imbalances and releasing them through the governing meridian it helps bring the body back to balance. When the body is in balance, the better it can handle everything life can throw at it.

A typical session runs from 20 to 60 minutes and reads like a roadmap, because we take one imbalance at a time. The body tells me through muscle testing what are the imbalances, and in which order they should be released.

Are the three sessions offered in packages complementary? Are three sessions typically enough in your process?

For a new client coming in who’s never experienced energy work, I recommend a three-pack because the body will go through an integration period after each session where it adjusts to the releases/rebalancing that happens. With a three pack, the client has the opportunity to evaluate how much better they felt after each session.

One session on somebody that has never had energy work done is not necessarily going to get them where they want to be. The reason for that is doing energy work is like peeling an onion, one layer comes off at a time. The body will only release so much in one session, and I honor that and let the body tell me how much can be released.

Can you share some tips with us about how to improve our energy work on a daily basis in order to live a more fulfilling life?

There are so many things out there once you start looking. Each person is different in what works best for relaxation or doing a reset.

One thing I think has a huge impact for people if they can add it to their daily routine is a gratitude practice. When you wake up in the morning, take a sheet of paper, write down 5 to 10 things you are truly grateful for. Focus on feeling grateful! This will switch you into an abundance mindset at the beginning of your day! It’s very powerful and, if you can make it a habit, it can really change how you look at your day.

A meditation practice is very helpful for those who like it. Adding it to your routine will help you ground your energy and there are many different types of meditation out there to pick from.

For those who like to physically move, exercise can be a game changer! I used this years ago to work off stress and keep myself in a good mood.

I find that for myself as well as others, if you have a few “go to” tools in your toolbox, the more resources that you have to keep yourself in a good mind space, the better you feel in mind, body and spirit!

What works best can be different for everyone. Some people prefer exercising, walking in nature or listening to music. The important thing is to find something relaxing that will also reset your brain.
