How did you get into hypnotherapy and what sparked your interest in it?

Before becoming a hypnotherapist, I worked as a Medical Assistant in an OB GYN Practice. Ironically, during this phase of my life, while advising others on their health and wellness, my own health progressively deteriorated to its worst state. I had unhealthy habits that significantly impacted my quality of life. My interest in hypnotherapy came about when I wanted to quit smoking cigarettes. At that time, I was really struggling with health issues such as obesity, high blood pressure, and kidney and heart problems stemming from a Lupus diagnosis. Smoking was one of the habits I needed to release to improve my health and enhance my quality of life. I had gotten the habit during my time in the Army and continued smoking after discharge. I lacked the know-how to quit on my own.

Over a two-year span, I attempted quitting through medication, patches, and cold turkey, but without success. Upon learning that a hypnotist would be visiting my city, I decided to give quitting another shot. The session lasted about three hours, and afterward, I no longer felt the urge to smoke. For weeks afterward, I remained surprised at how effortless quitting felt. Having had no prior knowledge of hypnosis, I became deeply interested in the process and its efficacy compared to other methods I had tried. The more I learned about hypnotherapy, the more convinced I became that it was my calling. Just months after quitting smoking, I enrolled in the Florida Institute of Hypnotherapy and utilized the techniques to transform my eating and exercise habits. I shed over seventy pounds, said goodbye to detrimental habits, and addressed some negative emotions, and limiting beliefs. This transformation resulted in the establishment of my hypnotherapy practice.

Can you walk me through one of your hypnotherapy sessions?

The initial session with a client sets the foundation for our work together, and subsequent sessions follow a similar pattern. I begin by delving into understanding my client by asking about their desires, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we pinpoint the main focus of the session and clarify their goal or desired outcome. This could involve modifying a behavior, addressing an emotion, or uncovering and eliminating a limiting belief, as each of these factors plays a significant role in achieving success. Next, we select the appropriate hypnosis technique or session type tailored to support the client in reaching their desired outcome.

During this phase, we transition into the educational segment of the session, where we discuss the hypnosis process. I take the time to address any questions, discuss concerns, and outline what the client can expect during the session. Finally, we embark on the hypnosis component of the session, typically lasting 30 to 45 minutes. I guide my clients to engage with the guided imagery I provide, encouraging them to follow along within their minds. Once the required level of physical and mental relaxation is met the subconscious mind is wide open and willing to take in the new suggestions, positive affirmations, and new images that shape a new reality.

How much is Past-Life Regression different from other forms of hypnotherapy?

Past-Life Regression is a distinct form of hypnotherapy that uses the relaxed state of hypnosis to explore memories of past lives and incarnations. This exploration extends beyond traditional hypnotherapy methods, exploring the depths of one’s soul journey, facilitating healing, and offering clarity and direction for life’s challenges. Unlike conventional hypnotherapy, Past Life Regression reveals another incarnation of oneself, providing valuable insights into one’s identity and behavioral patterns. This approach offers a unique opportunity for clients to tap into past experiences, extracting answers to current life dilemmas.

Beyond personal introspection, Past Life Regression can help one identify connections with souls encountered in past lives, shedding light on their influence across different lifetimes. This profound exploration not only aids in personal growth but also fosters a deeper understanding of interpersonal relationships and life’s interconnectedness. You are also a spiritual life coach. What can you tell me about that part of your work?

As a Spiritual Life Coach, I empower my clients to live authentically from the inside out, equipping them with tools and guidance to connect with their Divine selves. My personal journey of self-improvement began when I made my significant lifestyle changes. I quickly realized that the journey of transformation wasn’t just about physical changes but also about cultivating a mindset of positivity, happiness, and reduced stress. Along the way, I discovered the importance of introspection and connecting with my inner wisdom for answers and guidance. This inner exploration revealed to me the depth of the spiritual journey—a journey where we, as humans, navigate life while tapping into a previously unexplored and unexplained Source of power.

This isn’t unique to me; it’s a path that many of my clients embark on as they seek to enhance their life experiences. Through the process of self-improvement, they are intuitively drawn to dig deeper into their spiritual lives, seeking greater understanding and alignment with their Divine selves. As a Spiritual Life Coach, I draw upon my training from the International Metaphysical Ministry, incorporating effective Life- Coaching techniques and insights gleaned from my own experiences and Divine guidance. My role is to guide my clients on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual awakening, facilitating a deeper connection with their Divine essence and empowering them to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives.

What are your Mindset Minding retreats like?

I love traveling; it’s a big part of my self-healing practice, and I highly recommend it whenever possible. Traveling offers individuals a shift from their daily reality and routine, which can be instrumental in achieving a more positive mindset. Mindset Minding Retreats aim to provide a fresh perspective and new experiences, leveraging this energizing space to create and manifest one’s desires in life. From Thursday to Sunday, these retreats include daily group discussions, hypnotherapy sessions, and activities aimed at clarifying authentic desires, setting goals, and creating a roadmap for achievement.

Additionally, I offer meditation teachings, emphasizing its significance in the journey, along with methods to foster a consistent daily practice.
