In your practice of Reiki, Quantum Touch, and Shamanic Techniques, how do these modalities synergize to create a holistic approach to healing, and can you share a transformative experience where the combination of these techniques had a profound impact on a client’s well-being?

In my practice, I tend to use a mix of modalities depending on the needs of the client, the specific issues, or wherever I am guided to go intuitively.  Because I work in communion with the clients’ higher selves, the healing session is ultimately guided by them.  For optimum synergy, I encourage clients to have an intention for the helping session, whether this is internal or verbalized in our discussion beforehand.  We say in shamanism, ‘intention is the tracks down which the journey train travels’; journeying is the practice of entering into a shamanic state of consciousness to restore power, vitality, and essentially healing.  There are often multiple layers to healing specific issues, even those we might consider physical, i.e. a broken leg from playing sport perhaps.  Whilst there is undoubtedly a physical component to the work, and it seems to have been caused by something entirely 3d and environmental, this is just part of the story.  As we are working outside space and time, in the space of infinite possibilities, what we call ‘miracles’ can often occur with physical things we may think need ‘time’ to heal.  I have experienced this personally in profound ways, with torn tendons healing in days.  However, this is not always the case as this greatly depends on the other layers.  On the flipside, even physical issues like the broken leg, have a root cause in the invisible realm.  From a shamanic perspective, every ailment or sickness is the result of 5 main spiritual /energetic issues, so we need to treat the root cause of the dis-ease, which despite environmental causes/factors, is still the initial pathway to that which eventually manifests in the physical world.  For long-term health, the root of any injury or issue must be identified or brought to the surface, otherwise, the disharmony simply manifests in another event or experience until we identify the pattern/trauma.

In my experience, there isn’t one rule or path for everyone or a formula that you could follow to ensure healing is complete and done.  We are all so very different from each other.  I had expected it to be simple when I began, but the more I continue to explore, the more I have come to see it is a journey of peeling back layers, and depending on each person’s desire and intention and purpose, they may decide to scratch the surface or keep excavating!  You also have to be prepared to get into the darkness, I do not call myself a lightworker, if anything I am a shadow worker.

I also liken the healing journey and our life to a gigantic book, the analogy I use is that each page is its mini puzzle, made up of lots of pieces.  I see each healing or action we take on a healing path, a bit like locating or putting some of those pieces back onto the page where they belong, intending to start to understand our story and read the pages of the book (the book of our life).  As we are writing the book as we go along, it’s always being edited and modified so we are and it is alchemy in motion.  The way I see it, during a healing session, whilst you may come with the desire to ‘complete page 5’, our higher self may decide that the puzzle pieces to be returned are for page 2 or page 10, and as yet they do not make sense and the page cannot reach completion because its all out of context still.  But also the key order of events for you to fulfill your intention and get to your desired page 5.  So sometimes we don’t see results instantly.  This is why I encourage my clients to understand that they are the healers, they have the power, and their lives are always guiding them back home, not in a straight line.

All that said, what I can say is that the most successful healings occur when clients are prepared to look at all the layers and work on integration and responsibility, i.e. how the Spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical elements are interconnected and woven together to create the tapestry of our existence.  This means to identify, understand, and alchemize all aspects of essentially our creation process, i.e. how this event/dis-ease began, the mental patterns or beliefs that co-created it, (very likely as a result of trauma or societal conditioning), and then what suppressed emotions are stuck in the body and how we can release and honor them, and any physical or environmental components that might be exacerbating the issue.  You could say that a healing session is a catalyst and opportunity that contains or awakens the potential energy for one to take the next steps on the journey.  Sometimes the process can be completed easily, as all this comes to the surface quickly, and other times more slowly.  By learning to interpret the messages of our body, the language of our soul/spirit, and perceive the relationships we are in and our life as a magical mirror of our inner world, it is showing us exactly what we need to address to heal.  Dreams are also very potent for us to understand the realm of the subconscious and what we are creating in our sleeping ‘daydream’,

An example of a successful healing process with one of my clients:- Let’s call him Bob!  Bob came because he felt there was an oppressive energy around him that was suffocating him,  he felt the presence of energy outside himself that he could not control and it was very distressing, especially at night as he couldn’t sleep.  He had tried many other things and was referred to me for potentially some spirit clearing or other deep work.  There could be multiple causes of such a disturbance and I was open to tuning in and allowing myself to be guided by what came, rather than assuming that I thought I knew what it was.  As I said, often some layers unfold naturally and I fully trust in the process irrespective of what that looks like.

After discussing his life in more detail, it became clear this person was in a very unhealthy relationship, and his language directly pointed to feeling suffocated and smothered in his daily life.  Whilst this aspect alone was not the only cause, and there were multiple facets to the work, it was key that he began to understand that this had been going on for a long time and was part of the creation process.

To cut a long story short, we did some energetic clearing, and some deep shamanic work, and the overbearing sensations began to lessen and subside very quickly.  Throughout several sessions, we began to go deeper into Bob’s mental attitude, his boundaries and beliefs, and his willingness to take personal responsibility, and understanding how his life and body were communicating to him, he became more and more empowered to claim sovereignty over his own energetic space.  The initial paralyzing and frightening sensations of suffocation completely disappeared, and whilst this was partly a result of the energetic clearing work that was done, the long-term clearing of this was a result of Bob’s responsibility.   As I said earlier, the success of this healing was made possible because of the multi-layered approach Bob was willing to explore.

As a practitioner of the Alchemy of Mind, Body, and Spirit, how do you integrate these diverse approaches to guide individuals toward a more balanced and integrated state, and what principles or philosophies underpin your alchemical approach?

I think I have covered a lot of this above but happy to give you more information if you require it.

My basic philosophy is, that it’s you and life is happening for you!  We are all unimaginably powerful co-creators, and each of us has the power and ability to transform, alchemize, and create different lives and experiences and affect the whole world too.  I am just a conduit or guide and continue to explore the myriad of ways we can find our way back home and so as I continue to do my work, I continue to pass on my learning and exchange them with those who come to me.  It is always mutual learning.  By coming back home, I mean to our true self – “we are all Gods (and Goddesses) in drag” as Ram Dass used to say.

I believe nothing is impossible and we can heal from anything because ultimately this reality is a malleable perception-based projection of the inner dreaming world which we often have no control over as we are operating unconsciously mostly.  We are dreamers, lucid dreaming – but mostly asleep and conditioned by 3d and many limiting beliefs. Thankfully the world of quantum physics is starting to explore and prove that the nature of reality is a field of potential, perception creating reality itself, with each one of us having access to and made up of that field.  So my philosophy is you have to do the work  . . . get to know yourself, all aspects of yourself, and be with them, the good bad, and the ugly, no emotion is bad and all must be expressed healthily and integrated.  We find their home and get rid of the psychic debris we don’t need so we can step into the greatest version of ourselves over and over again.

From a practical perspective, once you accept you are the creator of your reality, you have the opportunity to change it.  So at the root of any successful sustained healing journey, the practice of mindfulness is fundamental.  Mindfulness enables you to get a handle and understanding of your thinking, your patterns, biases, and behaviors, and how that interacts with your emotions and body, so you can begin to be more present with your creative self, moment to moment, instead of being carried away by the monkey mind and programming.

Presence and conscious thought are like the blank pages and pen of your life story, and there is no limit to what you can create.  But if you don’t know you are the book and the pages and the pen, then it is very difficult to change the story!

Aside from that, I practice and encourage personal responsibility, energy/spiritual ‘hygiene’, and approaching and viewing life as your school – every event, disease, and good or bad experience potentially has gold within it.  This doesn’t mean we should avoid the experience or bypass the pain or sadness of life to get to the gold, but more that if we choose to see the event as our path to our greatest self and most needed medicine, then we can learn how to cope and become more resilient.  Your body is also one of your greatest vehicles for connection to spirit, we just have to learn again how it communicates.

Can you describe a specific ritual or technique within your Shamanic practice that you find particularly powerful in facilitating healing and transformation, and how do you customize these practices to suit the unique needs of each client?

All shamanic healings begin with the practice of drumming.  I use a traditional shamanic drum to ‘call in spirit’ or drop into altered states of consciousness so that I can perceive the invisible world in metaphor, vision, symbolic, or sometimes direct information so I know what work to do.  This is an amazing tool for me and the client, as it slows the brain waves down, the benefit for the client is that they are now closer to a rest state rather than an active brain state.  From there, I tune in and am guided to go where is needed or perform something that might fit into the container of shamanic healing techniques.  One of the most common practices/techniques is called ‘extraction’, which is the process of removing psychic ‘objects’ that are often a result of our negative thinking, repressed emotions, or that which we have seemingly taken on from others or the ‘external’.  This is always very healing, and something we all need regularly.  The immediate effects of this work may result in a general lightness or emotional and physical release for the client.  When energy is cleared, as a core principle, we must always return vitality – in shamanism if we are powerful (power-filled, power being a vital essence), we cannot get sick or take on psychic debris.  So, following an extraction, there is always a power retrieval for the client or soul retrieval.  Both are beautiful powerful pieces of work and particularly with the Soul retrieval can be emotional for a client and instrumental in deeper emotional healing.  Essentially it is the return of a fragment of the pure essence that has been lost at some point in the client’s life and is now ready to return, bringing gifts and talents back to the client that may be relevant for their current healing path.

In the context of Reiki and Quantum Touch, how do you navigate the energy dynamics involved in these modalities to address physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of well-being, promoting a comprehensive approach to healing?

As covered in the first long part of my answer.  Integration, doing the work on all levels.

How do you assist clients in understanding and participating in the alchemical transformation of their mind, body, and spirit, and what role do empowerment and self-awareness play in the process?

Core and fundamental to healing is awareness and personal responsibility, or empowerment.  I think I have also explained this above, but I encourage self-exploration in their own daily lives, and within our sessions through different practices, for example in a talk and heal session, we may look at mental patterns and beliefs and how they relate to the body and our experiences in physical reality or do some somatic work or mindfulness.  I often direct clients to additional material around inner child or shadow work and even quantum physics so they have more understanding of how it all fits together.  I also encourage clients to begin to try to interpret their lives in more symbolic ways, the way we would interpret dreams.  The various mirrors of reality are useful to explore and help us to make sense of different experiences and why they are manifesting.  The primary component here is YOU are the alchemist and you must begin to get aware!!

In your experience, how does the combination of Reiki, Quantum Touch, Shamanic Techniques, and the Alchemy of Mind, Body, and Spirit contribute to a client’s journey of personal growth and spiritual evolution, and what outcomes do you commonly observe in individuals who undergo this integrated approach to healing?

The combination of tools I use is the foundation and journey that I have taken to get where I am now and be able to do the work I currently do.  I am of course continually learning and growing myself and hope I continue to do so, as I am very passionate about the nature of reality, healing, and consciousness on all levels.  The more I explore the more I realize I know nothing!!  In my experience, a healing journey is a one-way ticket.  Sometimes people go to a couple of stops and are happy there, while others continue, driven to go deeper and deeper and take more and more responsibility and also live in increasingly empowered and magical ways.  Commonly for those who commit to themselves and regularly engage in healing practices and self-care, I see huge changes in perception, understanding, relationships, creativity, well-being and health, and of course more meaning and connection.  Most of all I see a deeper love for the self (Big and small) and greater appreciation and honoring of the preciousness of our being and our unique expression here in this moment.  Ultimately the only way to change reality is internally, so each one of us as a vital aspect of consciousness is contributing to a much bigger book than our own.
