Can you share your personal journey of discovering the impact of mercury toxicity and antibiotics on your health, and how did this realization lead you to become a professional healer focused on blending scientific knowledge with intuitive healing?
At the age of 11, I underwent the filling of over 30 cavities with silver fillings, commonly known as amalgam, containing over 50% mercury. Growing up in New Jersey, an area often associated with industrial toxicity due to its industrial history, added to the potential toxicity in my environment. This toxic backdrop extended through my lineage, with relatives from previous generations experiencing similar issues.
The placement of these silver fillings in my body had a detrimental impact on my gastrointestinal system from an early age, leading to constipation. By the time I reached 20, I was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome during my college years, exacerbated by stress. Earlier in my teenage years, I faced depression, anxiety, and panic attacks, which could all be indicative of toxic heavy metals in the system. My childhood health struggles included chronic ear infections, strep throat, and prolonged antibiotic therapy for acne, contributing to chronic migraines by the age of 13.
The turning point came after having children, as their health issues prompted me to explore the potential root causes of our ailments. Listening to a radio show discussing the toxic effects of mercury, especially from silver fillings, sparked a realization about the potential impact on my health. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints and being a stay-at-home mom, I postponed the removal of these fillings, leading to health complications during my second pregnancy.
The aftermath included my oldest daughter developing extensive rashes all over her body, while the second developed SIBO at an early age. Seeking medical help, I encountered dismissive attitudes from doctors and pediatricians, pushing me towards naturopathic practitioners. However, the lack of a comprehensive plan and the financial strain of numerous consultations proved challenging.
Over the years, it became clear that mercury toxicity and heavy metal exposure, combined with compromised gut health, were at the core of our problems. The analogy of a frat party in the gut, with a toxic environment providing a breeding ground for harmful elements, resonated with our situation. Despite following restrictive diets recommended by naturopaths, true healing only began when we addressed the underlying toxicity.
Struggling to find effective immune system support for my children, I delved into various modalities of healing. It became evident that detoxifying our bodies was crucial to the healing process. This realization marked a turning point, leading us on a path to recovery and inspiring me to explore alternative healing modalities.
Having experienced the effects of mercury toxicity firsthand, how do you incorporate your personal healing journey into your practice, and how has it shaped your approach to helping clients rediscover their health potential?
I worked for an integrative medical doctor who conducted IV chelation in his office. He initiated conversations with me about mercury toxicity and its symptoms, which resonated with my own experiences. Recognizing the signs, I began incorporating this knowledge into my role as an integrative dietitian, actively researching and identifying potential cases.
When working with patients, I looked for indicators such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, a family history of Alzheimer’s or autism—red flags that suggested heavy metal issues. Notably, if a young man suffered from severe gut issues, it often indicated a hidden layer of toxicity.
While IV chelation seemed too intense for my practice, I sought gentler detox methods based on my experiences. Developing protocols for detoxification became crucial, but conveying the concept of toxicity proved challenging for patients. To address this, I worked with three clinical laboratories specializing in integrative testing. In my final role, I advocated for testing heavy metals and contributed to the creation of a testing method, emphasizing urine catch with provocation for accurate results.
Despite the availability of testing, many practitioners remain hesitant due to a lack of understanding. To ensure positive results, I devised protocols guiding practitioners on proper testing procedures. Unprovoked tests often yielded negative results, emphasizing the importance of provocation in uncovering hidden heavy metals.
Working closely with individuals, I formulated comprehensive protocols focusing on supporting the immune system, avoiding trigger foods, and cleansing the elimination system. Rebuilding digestive juices and enhancing gastrointestinal digestion became central in addressing issues caused by bad bacteria and pathogens. The restoration of proper digestion was vital to alleviate symptoms such as bloating, constipation, and diarrhea, ultimately aiming to bring individuals back to a state of normalcy.
What type of services do you offer?
I worked for several years as a functional medicine-trained or integrative dietitian, focusing on autoimmune health issues and gut health problems. However, my journey took a turn when I delved into energy healing around 2010, exploring various modalities such as chronic healing, body talk, and accunect. During the pandemic, I expanded my knowledge further by learning Reiki, eventually becoming a Reiki master. This experience resonated with me deeply, especially when I participated in a Facebook group during the pandemic, where a medium and a Reiki master were actively healing and guiding us.
As a result, I started receiving intuitive information about healing and felt a strong connection with a higher power. I began honing my skills as a medical intuitive, guided by my Spirit team and spirit guides. Establishing a strong relationship with them and maintaining clear energy, I started delving deep into clients’ cases, conducting body scans, observing organs and tissues, and seeking guidance on their needs and symptoms.
This intuitive approach allows me to work with people, providing comprehensive medical intuitive reports covering their entire body or conducting deep energy healing sessions. During these sessions, we tap into intuitive information and use various techniques to address and eliminate the underlying patterns causing physical issues.
With your background in both scientific knowledge and intuitive healing, how do you strike a balance between evidence-based practices and more intuitive, holistic approaches in your healing sessions?
That’s a great question. I’ve observed that the individuals referred to me are fortunate to possess an open heart and an open mind. These qualities are essential because believing in something intangible, something unseen or untouched, requires an openness to the possibility that healing can occur. I always emphasize that I don’t offer diagnoses; rather, I identify patterns. Drawing from my functional medicine training, I share insights based on scientifically backed recommendations commonly employed by other functional medicine practitioners across the country.
In the realm of energy healing, when I invoke entities like archangels, I clarify that it’s not a religious practice; rather, they serve as healers on my team, contributing to the healing process. Fortunately, those who seek my services usually have a pre-existing understanding of my approach, having already accepted it on some level.
Staying informed about scientific advancements is crucial to my practice. For instance, recent research highlighted that individuals might not effectively absorb nutrients if their bodies sense the presence of harmful bacteria. While I’ve intuitively recognized this for years, having it documented in research helps clients grasp the concept more readily. It provides tangible evidence, fostering a greater openness to the idea that obtaining all necessary nutrients from food might face challenges, and there could be specific reasons for that.
I believe in a holistic approach, and when necessary, I refer clients to other practitioners such as chiropractors, mental healthcare professionals, or doctors. I don’t claim to be capable of everything, and I emphasize that individuals ultimately heal themselves. My role is to provide a supportive space, positive energy, and valuable information, with the hope that they enter with an open heart and mind, ready to embrace the healing energy.
As a healer, what role do you see emotional and mental well-being playing in the overall health of an individual, and how do you integrate these aspects into your healing approach?
It’s genuinely crucial. I’ve observed that over 95% of physical symptoms are linked to an emotional frequency. When my guides directed me to explore thought forms and core beliefs, incorporating these aspects caused profound shifts in the healing process. Initially, I used to target specific physical issues like a sore throat or cough, but now I consider any potential emotional frequencies involved.
For instance, earlier today, before this conversation, I worked with a woman experiencing flu symptoms. While one might typically focus on eliminating viral patterns and addressing immune system suppression, in her case, there were significant emotional factors allowing the virus to take hold and manifest symptoms. We delved into emotional work, particularly within various chakras. Her liver, in particular, held a substantial emotional frequency where the flu virus seemed to reside in her body. We conducted extensive work on her liver and spleen, identifying and releasing these emotional patterns and frequencies while understanding their synergy with the pathogen, which proved to be highly impactful.
