Who is Taryn Rodriguez? What can you tell me about yourself and your professional journey?
I’m a tarot reader/Reiki healer currently residing in The Bronx, NY. I got into energy healing and tarot about 4-5 years ago during a period of time when I was working on myself mentally and spiritually. Most of the work I do with clients are techniques I’ve done for myself that have had a positive affect on me. The reason I created my own business was to give others a safe space to be themselves.
How does Shadow Work Healing work?
The main goal of shadow work is to face the deepest and darkest parts of yourself that you tend to hide from yourself and others. There are many different techniques, like journaling, meditation, and mirror work to name a few. Once you have come face to face with a shadow attribute (i.e. jealousy, low self-esteem) you can begin to integrate and love that part of yourself so it no longer has control over you.
Can you walk me through one of your tarot readings?
Each tarot reading is unique to the client. I start each session by asking a few questions designed to see what it is the client wants to talk about and/or what a client may need to hear. As I speak with a client, I determine if a full spread needs to be done, what it looks like, and what cards to use. From there, I begin to read and channel the messages that are necessary for that session. At the end of every session, there are some words of encouragement and potentially some Reiki done to help integrate whatever was heard.
What are the differences between Usui, Kundalini, Lightarian, and Womb Light energy?
Each of these energies has a different frequency. I use the example of a radio station often: there are different stations for music types. Usui tends to be more traditional and linear. There’s a specific format to follow for energy flow. Kundalini is more feminine in that it’s free-flowing and goes where it needs to. Lightarian has an angelic frequency to it and works with ascended masters and Womb Light is specific for females to ignite energy from their womb space.
What are Bath Blends and what are they helpful for?
I created bath blends recently to help with energetic cleansing. I spent time researching different herbs, salts, and oils to create blends for different scenarios. Right now, there are 4 types: general cleansing which will help remove heavy energy, abundance building for those who wish to call more money or abundance into their life, feminine flow to assist with those who want to channel more of their creative energy and be in receiving mode, and retrograde help for anyone who feels like they have a dark cloud following them.
Is there anything else about your work that you’d like to share that we haven’t covered?
My healing work and what I do is focused on helping each client understand that they are their own healer. A lot of times we look to external sources for validation and sometimes blame. When we take our power back, we can really begin to heal and feel lighter.
