Could you please tell us who you are and describe your Journey?

I am a Shamanic Healer, chosen by the Spirits more than 30 years ago. My shamanic name is Tekla Drakfrende. I live in Sweden surrounded by Animals on the edge of the Forest and I follow the Year of Nature, the Circle of Life, in my Garden, in the surrounding Wild Nature, and with the Sacred Holidays of the Year. I work in close connection to the Nature Spirits and Animal- and PlantLife.

It all began with a Shamanic crisis and sickness. The Call of the Spirits was Strong! When they called me I didn´t know anything about Shamanism so it took some time for me to understand what I needed to do. When I found Shamanism it felt like coming Home on a very deep level. Since then I have lived a Shamanic Life and I now have many years of experience in Shamanism. I Love the Shamanic Way of Life where everything is alive and has equal worth. My work is deeply rooted in connection of Places, Lives, History, and the Spark of Life we all share and the Love that Nurtures it.

By now I have met and learnt different kinds of Shamanism from different cultures, mainly from the Arctic Circle or Mountain areas. I work with Root Shamanism – I seek out the oldest and deepest Roots of Traditions and let them sprout new life, fitting to our Time. I work with Spirits from Sapmi, Siberia, Greenland, Nepal, and Sweden of Old, among others. I also work with Traditional Shamans from other countries and they respect and value my work as I do theirs. I work with – never against. I only work with voluntary participants be it stones or people… Runes Live around me and Share My Life every Day.

What do you do as a Shaman?

I am a Shamanic Healer and as a healer, I work with People, Animals, Nature, and of course Mother Earth. I do healing missions for Mother Earth nearly every day and Animals seek me out if they need my help, both Wild and Domestic. I work with traditional healing techniques like Soul Retrieval and Extractions as well as the new techniques I get directly from the Sprits, methods that are unique to each Soul who seeks Help. People can come here or be healed from a distance. I also help other Shamans who have come into some difficulty personally or through their work.

I teach people who want to learn from me and no course is exactly the same. I have Basic courses in Shamanism and more Advanced courses made to fit the Students. I have a place called “Läkegården”, the House of Healing, and there I do Healings, and hold classes, events, Ceremonies, and Shamanic camps. For instances, we have a ”Seid of the Road ahead” each January to form the year ahead of us and we have ”Dance Macabre – The Great Dance of Death” each Halloween where we let go of fears and stuff we are done with. At ”Valborg” (Beltane) we Celebrate Life and Fill ourselves with the Power to Grow anew. At Yuletime I have an open House for Nature Sprits and we Celebrate this Fantastic Life, together.

I do Shamanic Work with Drum, Rattle, Phurba, Cong, Staff and do Healing Dances, Powersongs, and Paint Healing pictures (and more). At my home, I have a special place where Wild Animals can rest before they go into the Wild again.

What is this Healing circle you lead?

I am the founder of “Läkecirkeln”, a Circle of Healers, and also co-founder of ”Urvild” a movement to save the Earth. Both groups work with ”doing what is needed when it is needed”. The Circle of Healers works strictly shamanic and Urvild works both Shamanic and in other ways. The Circle has a mission to focus on each month and we also respond when something special is needed. All of us in the Circle work independently but can share purpose and method.

At the bid of the Spirit World I travel into the World – in Sweden and abroad to do Healing Missions locally, with intense shamanic work together with members of the Circle. We call this ”Valfärd” – a sacred journey to a special place for a special purpose (the journey of a Vala/Völva/Shaman). If someone knows a place that is in dire need, they invite me to come and work there. My students are welcome to come along if they are able and willing.

I am also one of the leaders in ”Shamanism without borders” who also help all over the World. We have online meetings where we work with a specific area/problem/solution in a  session we call ”tending to” or do ” tune-ins” where we work with the same thing at the same time but without being online.

What is a Healing Garden?

My Healing Garden at “Läkegården” is built on a Shamanic foundation and has 45 different rooms. Every room holds a specific purpose, like the Garden of Love, the Garden of Mystery, the Garden of Saga, and the Garden of Beginning. Everything in the Garden wants to be there and works with the purpose together with each other.  The Souls and the Energy there helps the person that comes into it, in its own way. The Garden Room can give insights, raise awareness, give peace, and/or heal. You can work actively in them or just be there – or even spend the night in one when you are here on a happening.

What other services do you offer?

I hold Namegiving Ceremonies and travel to festivals where I hold workshops and public Healing Ceremonies together with my friend and co-worker Johannes, also a Shaman in the Circle. We complement each other naturally and do a lot of work together. He too works under the direct Guidance of Spirits and Helpers.

I also do different crafts as I love working with my hands, for example; I bring Drums to Life and Knit Magic.

I have a shamanic shop filled with wonderous objects from all over the World. There are also different exhibitions on “Läkegården” now and then and I am building a Shamanic museum. My Life is Full of Wonderful Shamanism!
