When did you first know that being an Astrologer was your calling and how did it come about?
I didn’t give astrology a second thought until I was going through a spiritual awakening in 2012-13. I was in a Reiki class when someone casually mentioned tracking their dreams at night with the planetary alignments. I’ve always been a vivid dreamer so that one small comment planted a seed in my mind. I decided that I would investigate astrology, thinking that I could learn it in a weekend! As soon as I dove in, I was instantly hooked. It’s like there was a gentle hand pushing me into doing this professionally since that first spark in that Reiki class! Now I know that astrology is not something that can be mastered in a weekend, of course. I continue to fall more and more in love with my practice every single day.
What services do you offer?
My professional services include birth chart readings, forecast sessions and question-based readings. I also offer a “Soul Path” session where I look at the ‘quantum’ level of your chart. In a Soul Path session, we will go much deeper than your personality traits. I also offer sessions for couples, friends or family members where I will compare two birth charts to see how they interact with each other.
How are our dreams connected to the stellar alignments?
This is a great question and one I continue to conduct astrological research on. I’ve found that very often an individual will dream more during the time each month when the Moon is in the same phase of their birth. For example, if someone was born under a crescent Moon, they may find that they have better dream recall during the crescent Moon every month.
I’ve also found that the sign of Scorpio seems to be linked to nightmares and night terrors, particularly in young children. This can be helpful for parents to understand if their toddler is experiencing night terrors without a seemingly logical explanation.
I offer a dream interpretation service as well where I will look at what planets were impacting your chart at the approximate time your dream took place. This astrological layer of dream interpretation can help an individual understand what their dreams may be trying to communicate to them.
How do you balance the deterministic nature of astrology with the concept of free will?
Please note I am in constant evolution with the topic of free will and predeterminism. My answer to this question could be entirely different tomorrow! At the current time, I believe our birth chart determines the energies we have available to us in our current human experience. I believe we can use our free will to work with these energies. Each sign and planet in astrology has a positive expression and a negative expression. I believe we can use our free will to harness the positive energies in our birth chart, or we can fall the other way and choose and/or manifest more negative experiences. Both negative and positive situations, people and events are part of our human experience on Earth. Astrology is great at predicting the WHEN’s of our life. I believe the WHAT and HOW we choose to respond to our experiences is where we can best use our free will.
What can a person expect from your sessions?
I truly hope to tickle the Soul of everyone that comes to see me for a session! I put 110% Capricorn effort into each chart reading that I conduct. I hope a person walks away with more confidence, more self-awareness, more self-love and compassion for themselves and all other beings. The feeling of goosebumps and an electric-like current moving through the physical body is a common experience during my sessions both for myself and my client!
What do you love most about your profession?
Astrology is my passion! My profession feels like joy and play rather than ‘work.’ I hope to help every individual find the path to their passions. If each person on this planet truly followed a calling that lights them up inside, I believe the world would be a much more peaceful and joyful place to be. I love it so much because I can help people help themselves using this ancient and magical tool called astrology.
