Connect With Your Loved Ones And Pets Who Crossed Over - With Tammy Stillwater

Connect With Your Loved Ones And Pets Who Crossed Over - With Tammy Stillwater

This week, we had the opportunity to speak with Tammy Stillwater, a Psychic Medium. Her abilities include clairvoyant and clairaudient.

When did you first know that being a psychic medium was your calling and how did it come about?

I am pretty sure I was born a medium. I say that because as a very young child I often just ‘knew’ things and would blurt out truths about adults I came into contact with!  That made people very uncomfortable as you can imagine. Psychic children often do this. No one then understood what being an empath was like we do today, and being a misunderstood empath made life both very interesting and sometimes difficult.

I have always been able to connect with Spirit easily.

I first discovered one way to receive messages when I was about 10 years old.  Being of the Christian faith, I would light a candle in my room and pray, then I would close my eyes while asking for a message and flip open the Bible. The first passage my eyes fell on was a message. It was always perfectly fitting and the candle flame would get really tall at the same time!

In my 20’s I got my first deck of Tarot cards and I began receiving visions and connecting with deceased loved ones before I could even shuffle the cards! When I ran across an opportunity to work as a card reader for one of the first and very popular psychic hotlines around 1999, I knew immediately this was my calling as I was able to help so many people.

What is the most popular type of reading that customers are looking for? What are the most common concerns that interest them?

Popular subjects come and go in the collective. It has been interesting to see humanity evolve. In the 2000s there was a big theme of twinflames: when would they meet, why couldn’t they get along, why was there cheating happening when there was such huge love?  Then the next decade almost every single reading was ‘Is he coming back and when?’ as those twinflames fell apart due to not being quite ready yet. The answer to ‘was he coming back’ was almost always ‘no’ and it seems during that time women, and men too, became more empowered as individuals and learned more about what they wanted in their lives and to never accept less than their true worth.

In the last 5 years there is a new wave of truthseekers out there an awakening to the hidden truths on every level: personal lives, discovering why ‘he didn’t come back’, discovering and seeing through scams of all sorts, now understanding narcissists and how those relationships caused so much drama.  People now seem to be asking more spiritual questions and wanting to connect with deceased loved ones as a lot of people left the planet both before and during the pandemic. Now we all want to know what is next on the landscape of the entire planet.

What can a person expect from a reading?

Expect the unexpected many times! Answers and people do not usually come in ‘on demand’. Or in chronological order. Everything comes in like the layers of an onion and pieces of a jigsaw puzzle! It takes patience and understanding to put the picture together. Also, expect your psychic to be a human! We are not an automated service and neither is Spirit. Kindness and patience help the energy flow for a wonderful reading to unfold.

Are some types of psychic readings more demanding or difficult than others?

Oh definitely. Its all about high vibes versus low vibes. It is uplifting to read for someone about their new love relationship, for example, as opposed to reading for someone asking why their beloved pet died suddenly. Grief is a heavy emotion in readings. Depression is the heaviest. Love and optimism are great vibrations. But when a person owns whatever feelings instead of denying them it balances the reading and makes it go better. Heavy new grief can completely block a reading so I recommend waiting a little while when there is a situation of painful loss. I am grateful to be able to help people with their grief and feel that Spirit has led me to do so.

Was there anything that you felt you needed to do to deepen or develop your psychic abilities?

Yes, I have done a lot of inner work that involved and continues to involve clearing! Clearing old energy, attachments, cords and more is essential to giving good readings but also I recommend this for everyone, not just psychics. I have meditated all of my adult life and highly recommend it. Also if you are an animal lover, they are wonderful companions with amazing energy helpful for grounding and bringing peace and joy. I am always surrounded by my dogs while giving readings on the phone. Living close to nature I feel has also enhanced my psychic gifts.

What do you love most about your profession?

My favorite thing about being a Medium is that I have the ability to understand, hear and communicate on many levels and especially love being able to talk with my and other people’s pets telepathically. It is a cherished gift. In fact, my guides have told me it is the reason I came here.

I also love that I can discern truth, the truth about people and their true intentions, and dangerous situations. I also love being able to communicate easily with the angels and do so on a daily basis. They are amazing and beautiful and a huge help to me and my clients.

My profession as a whole is very misunderstood. I wish it was more widely accepted and respected and I hold out hope that as people raise their vibrations and connect more deeply with their heart centers humanity will begin to understand that most of us Mediums are pretty normal but special people! Most of us have good hearts and the best intentions to help people, are very truthful, and are very closely connected with Spirit. Most of us believe strongly in and respect karma and practice ‘do no harm’ for that reason.

Being a psychic has not been an easy path but it is one that I would definitely not trade and do not regret taking.
